The Lesson

Kingdom college is another major leap of maturity, integrity, and character building. We go through huge paradigm shifts where everything we ever knew about life and how it’s lived is new to us. We’ve heard about but haven’t encountered this phenomenon for ourselves. We are mature in book knowledge but often lack personal experience. We’ve had lots of religious teaching that may or may not be correct. When we get to kingdom college, we realize our previous religious teaching needs major adjustments. That can throw us into quite a tailspin if we’re not open to change. Any form of spiritual abuse makes this transition difficult. It feels as if we’ve taken several steps backward because what we knew and about God may not be based on truth. Well, at least that’s how I felt.

Kingdom college begins for a Christian when they step into the come-up-here principle described in Revelation 4:1. John was invited to go to heaven to investigate the future. Many in Scripture had similar experiences. Jesus, Enoch, Daniel, Ezekiel, and Elijah are a few who were completely aware they could live on earth while functioning in heaven at the same time. Like them, we learn to see a thing in heaven, then administrate it on earth. We see, hear, sense, and feel God’s heart as we commune with him. As stated previously, we can start kingdom college while still in high school.

Not everyone is called to live from this place. Why is that? Keep in mind that many extremely mature Christians decide that kingdom college isn’t for them and that what they’ve learned up to this point is where they’re to be. I don't believe it's a conscious decision. Kingdom College is really about those who choose to live via the come-up-here principle. Prophets can pull from this position when they prophecy. Anyone can have dreams and visions. So, in a sense, most of us have tasted of the come-up-here principle. The difference is that once we realize with our cognitive mind that it exists, this provides an opportunity to live in this position full-time. For me, I believe my come-up-here (ascension times) began when I joined a prophetic dream school. Prior to this time, my usual comment went something like, "I know God is speaking to me but I don't know how." Once I joined the dream school in 2010, I learned how to exercise my imagination. I didn't know that I could exercise it! It was from this place that I stepped into the ascension process without realizing that's what I was doing. Once I started the process, it was another seven years before I felt "fully operational" as what people are now calling a "Christian mystic." Our "exercising" process begins in Kingdom College. Even those who disagree with it probably don't know they've dipped in and out of it, especially if they've been in the prophetic or charismatic arenas.

Activation!

Here, we take an inventory of your dreams, visions, and encounters. First, answer the following questions:

What is the first odd vision you ever had that's stuck with you?
Have you ever had any "open visions" where what you saw was as real as the room you're in? If so, write them out if you haven't already.
How do you compare the eyes of your heart (imagination) with your physical eyes?
Have you had any profound dreams that seemed very real? Hopefully you've written them down. If not, take this time to do that.
Have you had interesting conversations with any member of the Trinity that seemed to come out of nowhere? If so, write those down as well. This may be sensing, hearing, or seeing. Some people hear and sense better than see.
What are the most difficult things for you to grasp with the come-up-here principle? Write them down.

Now, over several days (or weeks), take every item on your list before the Trinity. Even if you see nothing, be in a place of expectation that you'll see, sense, hear, or feel something. Be sure to pay attention to those thoughts that seem to come out of nowhere. Journal everything so you can refer back as needed. And, you never know when you'll need it later! It's too easy to forget things when our minds compete for so much information that's around us today.
