The Lesson

I talk in the video about the chapter on "Speaking to the Stars." This is one of the experiences where I got some lessons on functioning as a Son of God. I didn't understand what I was doing, nor did I have a framework for it. If you read my book, Maturing as a Mystic, you'll notice this is a lower elementary level of understanding in this encounter. We watch. We copy. There is often minimal comprehension level at lower "kingdom school" grade levels. But, we have to start somewhere!

Here is my big takeaway from this story. I was in the beginning stages of understanding that I’m responsible for the entire cosmos as a Son of Yahweh. My actions and reactions affect all of creation. Until this point, my effect was limited to those in my sphere of influence. It didn’t cross my mind that my actions could affect someone on the other side of the world, much less stars in the heavens. In this new move of Yahweh, many have taught that our DNA is an important key to our function. We’re part of the creation process. That came through Yeshua because he joined with human DNA. As we understand who we are in Christ, many doors we never knew existed open.

What I share in this chapter often creates major paradigm shifts for people. Until we understand our authority as Sons of Yahweh, we’ll struggle to walk in these truths. When we suffer from self-esteem issues, rejection, an attitude that we’re not good enough, or a myriad of other situations, functioning out of our identity becomes a bit tricky. My first book, Accessing the Kingdom Realms, was my experience about understanding identity. Just like everything else, it takes practice to change mindsets.

World circumstances can dictate our responses. An awakening requires that we look to the heart of Yahweh rather than news, social media, friends, family, or other sources for our daily bread. We don’t put blinders on to ignore the circumstances. Our goal is to keep our focus on Christ during the chaos around us. That’s why 1 Thessalonians 5:18 tells us to give thanks in everything, not for everything. We get what we need by communing with Yahweh from that intimate place in him.

Let's focus on your identity in Christ. We'll start with questions...

What do you think identity in Christ means?
How do you see your identity in Christ?
Are there areas of your life where you feel less than capable? If so, why? Take those before the Trinity and ask how that contributes to your identity as a Son of God.
What do you think about your physical body? If you have any negative thoughts about it, take that before the Trinity and ask them how that contributes to your identity as a Son of God.
Is there anything in your life that keeps you from stepping out into something new? Take those things before the Trinity and ask how these thoughts contribute to your identity as a Son of God.
What do you really think about yourself? Take those thoughts before the Trinity and ask them how that affects you identity as a Son of God.

After answering these questions, you probably have an idea of what keeps us from stepping into our true identity as a Son of God. As we mature, eventually things that no longer serve us fall away. The more we're able to allow previous life traumas to be healed, the more we step into our true identity. Why? Because those things no longer hold us captive. Our thoughts, intents, and actions can also hold us captive as well.

If we want to be free to be who we're created to be, then we have to learn "to be." That does answer Shakespeare's question.
