Feeding your Ability to See in the Spirit

(Part 2, Tongues and Meditative Prayer)

Can you improve your ability to see in the spirit? Can you improve your ability to travel in the spirit?  What’s the difference between seeing in the spirit and remote viewing? What’s the difference between traveling in the spirit and astral projection?  Should Christians open their third eye? … Wow, that’s a scary thought.

Some Christians are really afraid to face these issues. Some think it’s evil or demonic. However, I find that most believers who fellowship and associate with us see these activities as things that the Lord would have us do.    I am going to address these issues from the standpoint that supernatural activity is a part of a victorious Christian life.

You know that when we become born again, we receive the Holy Spirit. Simply, our spirit connects with God. Therein lies the difference to all of this.  If you are not a believer, you are using your soul to see,  or travel outside of your body, or prophesy, or participate in healing.  Several symptoms earmark the differences. If these practices are done by the guidance of Holy Spirit, we have peace and God’s love guiding us. People who do these practices by their soul say that it is uncomfortable. Testimony given says that it can even be painful.     But, as believers, we have very clear tools to guide our way. Galatians 5:22-23, ” The fruit of the spirit is love,  joy,  peace,  patience,   kindness,  goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. Against such, there is no law.”  You should sense those attributes when you participate in supernatural activities. If you don’t, STOP!

I’m going to divert from my train of thought for a moment and talk about the third eye. What is that?    Its when a nonbeliever forces open the pineal gland or force the pineal gland to function in the brain?  God gave us the pineal gland. It’s a little bitty cone-shaped gland that’s near the pituitary gland, the auditory canal, the top of the spinal cord, and the optic nerve. It’s at a transitional or pivotal point in the brain.  Opening it can be done by satanic ritual, new age practices, or other religious rituals done by groups such as the Hindus.  It is forced to work.

However, when we participate in supernatural activities through God’s peace and love  The organs and glands of the brain work as a symphony our spirit and Holy Spirit. Yes, you’re nervous system, your endocrine system, and your organs all support supernatural activity. God built us that way.   I think God knew what He was doing when he placed the pineal gland adjacent to those other glands and nerves.

If you haven’t read the first half of this blog, I encourage you to go back and do so.  Because, when we pray in tongues, or pray and meditate on the name of Jesus, or say the  YHVH, the pineal gland secretes Melatonin and the frontal lobe of our brain relaxes. Basically, we go into a receiving mode.  We hear God more clearly. We see visions. Some people even smell and hear in the spirit.

So here’s the $50,000,000 question. How do you feed your supernatural abilities? You make praying tongues, meditating on God and his word a continuing practice in your life.  Practice in one form or another improves your life. You become a better gardener when you practice gardening techniques. You become a better musician when you play your instrument daily.     You will improve your intuition, discernment, ability to prophesy, seeing in the spirit, traveling in the spirit, and more if you practice it. Once again, it begins with praying in tongues along with prayer and meditation on God and his word.

Let me know if this post helped you. I’d love to hear from you.

Abundant blessings,

Anna

  1. Hi. I just love your blogs!!! Interesting what you say about the pineal gland!! I was taught here, that to have it open is evil? That if they thought one had it open in the prophetic…they would blind it or cut you off from seeing with it to STOP u seeing from the WRONG side of the realm? How do you understand this? And if the above was wrong …how does one rectify it and restore it? Thanking you. Bless you.

    1. Fiona,

I have never dealt with stopping someone from using their third eye. So, I don’t have an answer for that. Most activities can be used for evil or good. Music can be used to seduce someone or worship the Lord. Satan worshipers prophesy and so do Christians. So when someone sees through the third eye they are using their soul and probably linking to the demonic. We see in the spirit through our relationship with God by the inclination of Holy Spirit. I hope that helps.

  2. My husband has aphantasia, and he has only been able to see visions under heavy doses of ayahuasca. I have prayed for him, but he has experienced no change. He is calling out, and he wants to hear and see from God, but he is deaf and blind to spiritual things. What can I encourage him to do – as an unbeliever – that is open if he could just hear, feel, see something to open his 3rd eye to Jesus?

    1. Mary, thanks for your comments. Does your husband want to see the things of God? You mention that you’ve prayed for him but until he’s ready, it’s going to be more difficult for him to see. In situations like this, I’ve found it best to simply release God’s love, peace, joy (or whatever else you feel led to release) over a person. We can send ministering angels and pray blessings upon someone, too. I think much of what’s going on here involves his will. What does he want to see? Does he even care? Sometimes the best way to reach someone is when they see a change in us and then say, “I want what you have!” You also mention that he’s an unbeliever. This makes it a bit more interesting because again, you’re dealing with his will. The best advice I could give is to ascend and be with the Father in His realm and ask what you can release over your husband. Blessings to both of you!

  3. He says he would believe if God would show up, show him something, break through. He says he has called out to God “If you exist – show me” type prayers. I wrestle with this unbelief because Jesus appeared to Saul in his unbelief and his life (and name) was changed. I know God can do that for Stephen too. He is asking for it, he feels empty and has a hunger for more. I know deep in my spirit that Stephen is going to be a mighty warrior, leader and healer in the Kingdom. Stephen wants this and says he is ready to get started…
God has given me several promises regarding Stephen’s Salvation. When we first got married, Stephen lost his wedding ring and I was recently saved and praying to God, He said “Stephen will find his ring when he is ready to find me.” That was powerful to me! That was over 13 years ago. He has been agnostic until aprox. 14 months ago. I had stopped praying because nothing was happening I believed that it will all be in God’s timing. Last year, I began to pray again for him and God’s hand has been moving in all the details. I keep thinking.. this is it… he is ready… He even agreed to go to church with me on a Sunday and we were going to meet with the pastor for healing prayer after the service, he told me 10 min before we should leave that he changed his mind.
Recently, as I become upset in Stephen’s attempts to have an experience of visualization, God assured me that Stephen has to look under every rock, go down every road and come up empty before he will be ready to find Him. (I get that, Stephen has to exhaust all other possibilities before he will settle on the truth – that is his logic and personality)
I have gone to the courts, I have appealed to get strongholds, blockades, barriers removed and veil’s torn. Stephen is still blind. He is trying new age stuff, he is trying mushrooms, Acadia tree roots, anything he can find and I am hopefully frustrated. I am beginning to practice prayers in tongues. I want to do everything I can while I wait upon the Lord. I am so tempted to push but God has said, “don’t push, let me pull” I also do not want to sit and do nothing, because that is what I have done for the first 13+ years of our marriage, and I only see progress when I pray. (Thanks for letting me dump here. Please join me in my prayer for Stephen)
