NW Ekklesia has many business minded people, who have a lot of training in their areas of expertise. We consider what these people do as not only a business but a ministry. We "minister" wherever we go via the gifts and talents God put within us. For many, that involves running a business. Those with businesses treat their "craft" as an opportunity to bring love, peace, joy, in addition to providing a living. We should be able to do the job we love that also ministers to people. 

In addition, those in the NW Ekklesia Council have recommendations for outside resources (books, websites, YouTube and Patreon channels, etc.). Those resources are listed first followed by what's available from the businesses within the ekklesia at large.

Every "kingdom minded" person may have a specific area of expertise they're called to function in and partner with God in the heavenly realms. We begin this section with Mike Farley's work in the courts of heaven, who has worked in the heavenly court system for many years. Mike begins his list with a couple of books that explain the courts of heaven and the protocols for operating in each court. Mike had been working in the Courts of Heaven for years and thought he had a pretty good handle on the supernatural and then he read this book. It changed his perspective.

The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible - Michael Heiser

Mike highly recommends Michael S. Heiser (1963-2023). You can find him on YouTube and in particular, Mike recommend his book, The Unseen Realm. Michael was a Bible teacher, podcaster and author with a PHD in Hebrew Bible and Semitic languages.

Sue Beckman - Journey Off the Tracks

Sue's training is in theater, music (singing/flute), and writing. She is what some would call a Christian Mystic— diving into the deep mysteries of God. She has pursued spiritual experiences with the Trinity, seen and been to heaven and goes there often. She especially loves going to her heart garden. Sue spends a lot of time there with Jesus when she has something on her heart to discuss. This journey has molded her into who she is today. It is from these experiences that a lot of her writing comes. In fact, one morning in June 2014, she began writing in her journal. As she closed her eyes and asked Father God what was on his heart. His reply was, "Write a book." There was some arguing that went on for a bit - but only for a very short time. Then he said, "So write a blog. It will give you the discipline you need to write a book.  Good practice."

Meditation

Sue offers a personal and group meditation sessions. This would be a 30-minute one-on-one-led meditation. It's recorded and then emailed to you for your personal use.  This would be a Zoom meeting call, so you must be able to use Zoom. You do not need a paid Zoom account to participate.

Mentoring

Joanne Dusatko - Sound Healing Remedies

Joanne Dusatko is a musician based in Chicago who has spent the past 8 years honing her skills with therapeutic sound through personal and group sound baths. 

She loves using her musical sensibilities along with training and listening to Spirit to bring positive change to people. She finds joy seeing people come into healing and wholeness.

Joanne has completed an extensive 186 hour sound healing and therapy certificate program through the Globe Institute in San Francisco and is certified in Vibrational Sound Therapy through the Vibrational Sound Association. She has also studied at the Sound Healing Academy. She is the founder of Sound Healing Remedies.

VST Session

The sound and vibration of a VST session activates the parasympathetic nervous system and brings relaxation and stress reduction to the body and mind. You will lie clothed on a massage table face down, face up or in both positions depending on the session you choose. One to three bowls will be placed on or around your body in various positions. The bowls are struck with a felt mallet in a relaxing rhythm.

Sound Bath

Sound baths use sound frequencies to affect the brain and the autonomic nervous system. This calms the "fight or flight” response resulting in relaxation, possible healing and individual enrichment. Why is the term sound bath used? Because the sounds wash over and "bathe" the participants. When attending a sound bath, attendees don't require previous experience or knowledge of any method. They just lay still, relax and receive.

Diane Holladay - Soothing Frequencies

Diane is focused on helping others tune their spirit, soul, and body to a fulfilling life of their dreams. She has been trained and certified in various healing modalities that involve biology, healing frequencies, sound therapy, and stress relief. Sue is trained and holds a certificate in Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST), Biofield Tuning, and Jin Shin Jyutsu.
