Musical Frequencies of the Hebrew Letters

by Del Hungerford

The title “Musical Frequencies of the Hebrew Letters” suggests that the Hebrew letters have significant meaning. Although this topic appears more musically related, there’s very much a spiritual connection. In this article, we explore my spiritual journey into the wonderful world of the Hebrew letters and musical frequencies.

Understanding how the universe works is part of how God designed us. How can we co-create with Him if we don't understand how it's done? Just like a father teachers a child how to live life, so does our Father in heaven. We start as immature Christians and through a process of trials, triumphs, and general living of life, we mature and are given more to digest and assimilate into our being.

We start "Kingdom School" the moment we choose to follow Christ. I write about this process in two of my books, one of which is a workbook. It was during my kingdom school (probably early college level) when I started receiving downloads about the musical frequencies of the Hebrew letters. I'd looked at it for quite some time before that. However, I wasn't mature enough to understand it in the beginning stages, just like a first graders can't read Shakespheare because they don't have enough information yet to do that.

We'll start with a chart of the Hebrew letters and their "gematria" which is a fancy name for a numbering system, also called "numerology." Numerology is basically the study of numbers. This chart only includes the letters up through 400. Some forms of gematria use the "final forms" of five letters and give them their own gematria which brings the  numbering up to 900. That is the type of gematrial I found worked for the musical frequencies of the Hebrew letters.

My Process

For a period of nearly six years, I worked on finding a connection between the Hebrew letters and music. It started out as an accident… sort of. My musical curiosity got the best of me when someone said one day, “You should see if you can find the musical frequencies of the Hebrew letters.” Challenge accepted! My close friends encouraged me to keep going when it felt like I was constantly hitting brick walls. Somewhere towards the beginning, I learned the “come up here principle” to ask questions (fancy words for ascension from within the heart). You’ll read about that all over this website. What makes this situation unique is the span of time that I gathered information.

The project grew and morphed based on what I watched and heard during my "come up here" times. One of my first clues came from an experience in the Holy of Holies. I watched the priest sing the names of God where frequencies arced between the breastplate, the mercy seat, and the cherubim. As the priest sang, the frequencies did a variety of dance-like movements. At the time, this didn’t make much sense to me. Later, I researched the breastplate, gathering all the information I could about the topic. Eventually, I put together a chart that listed musical frequencies, Hebrew letters, and the names of the tribes. Although that research is still resting, it propelled me into the next step of finding the musical frequencies of the Hebrew letters.

What I love about becoming a true “son” of God (“son” referring to mankind in general), is the free access to the kingdom realms. I honestly believe that without watching the Father “do” followed by having conversations about various topics, I’d still be looking for answers. I also realized that we need to see and experience before we do. It’s so easy to be overly eager when we learn something new. I expected quick answers and was disappointed (at first) when I was met with more questions during some of my conversations with Papa (He loves it when I call Him this) and Jesus.

I’ve created a produce on the results of my research on the Healing Frequencies Music website where people can purchase my research materials and hear examples of how to create their own music with these frequencies. CLICK HERE to read my original article about the musical frequencies of the Hebrew letters on the Healing Frequencies Music website. The details for the technical bits are there and more are in the actual product. In this article, we take a look at the spiritual side of how this came about and the lessons that go along with that. You might want to check out the nitty gritty details on Healing Frequencies Music so what I say here makes more sense.

All of our experiences in the kingdom realms are to help us build relationship with the Trinity. The maturing process goes from behaving like toddlers to mature “adults” in Him. We’ll make mistakes, say and do silly things, and Papa will smile saying “You’ll get this!”

What I honor about the project of finding the musical frequencies of the Hebrew letters is that it helped me grow up a little more. From hardship and testings in life, we mature. Not that this particular project was a testing journey but, it did challenge many of my paradigms and expectations, which I had to let go of to get the next level of understanding.

My general mode of operation is to “get ‘er done!” You give me a task and I’m Johnny on the spot. There’s usually not much messing around. What did I learn? At times, things need to sit and simmer until more revelation comes. If we get things delivered too early, that revelation can easily slip by unnoticed and unappreciated.

What’s interesting about the last year of the project is that I had the answer sitting right before me waving at me saying, “Hello!! Can you see this?” Why didn’t I see it? When revelation comes that we don’t have the capacity to understand at the time, it doesn’t help. Yes, I had all but the last piece of the puzzle assembled for nearly a year before I knew what to do with it! Again, this was a teaching tool in patience for me. AND... I had to let go of an EXPECTATION it was going to look a certain way. As long as that expectation lingered, I couldn't see the right answer. Eventually, I let it sit while I began other projects. Every once in a while, I’d come back to see if I had enough to plunk in that final puzzle piece. I learned to rest with the understanding that when it was time, I’d have the answers. That’s growth for me! I can only imagine my actions and frustrations with this waiting time two years earlier.

I always ask myself the question “What can you learn from the situations in your life right now?” Even in conversations with Papa and Jesus, we talked about my project. I’d get answers like, “You’ll know when it’s time. There are other things you must learn first.” For someone who likes to push through and get it done, I didn’t want to hear that! Now that I look back on it, I see how the learning progression put everything into perfect timing. Nearly a year later, I sat staring at an almost complete chart of what I thought were the frequencies of the Hebrew letters. Here’s the clincher… I knew the information that I needed to complete the project. However, it didn’t click because of my expectation of what it should look like. I needed to go back into my memory banks and remind myself of various experiences. When we do things out of habit or are advanced in a field enough that we do everything on autopilot, we often forget about the process it took to arrive in that place. This is why some awesome musicians are horrible teachers. When things come easy for us, we often don’t understand the beginning-to-end process.

I find it interesting that Papa took me to places where I could watch how frequency works. We’d sit and just watch, saying nothing. During these viewing times, I didn’t always receive revelation. But, what I saw stayed with me.

Eventually, stuff started to click. Yes, there were conversations but honestly, I enjoyed being in the presence of Papa enough that I didn’t mind waiting for answers. Sometimes, asking questions about such projects wasn’t on the forefront of my mind. When we get into the kingdom realms and engage with the Trinity, it’s easy (and probably good) to forget about what we need. I learned to focus on the relationship first. Through relationship building, other things fell into place.

One night, after several days of sitting with Papa watching and listening to the sounds around us, I thought to myself, “I wonder if there’s a connection with what I’m seeing, the Hebrew letters, and the harmonic series?” This question simply flitted through my brain. That’s when the final puzzle piece opened up for me.

Responding to my thoughts, Papa said, “As you know, there are other frequencies that come out of the fundamental. When you find the base, it’s easy to find the best harmony that fits within that note. Yes, it’s uniquely that one specific note. But, the properties – the higher properties will still follow the same rule for the law of harmonics.”

Bingo! That’s all I needed. That might not make sense to you but remember, I’d worked on this project for years. One puzzle piece that had to do with harmonics continued to allude me. I had the chart already laid out but didn’t know what to do with it. These three sentences sealed the deal. It was a casual conversation in a place of intimacy with Papa that the answer came. At that moment, it was like the answer exploded inside me. My spirit was doing little dances everywhere. I couldn’t thank YHVH enough. His smile at watching my excitement made it even better.

If you want to understand the mysteries of God, focus on intimacy first. Build relationship and everything will come naturally!

Throughout that day, puzzle pieces began to flood through my mind. I sat down and wrote it all out, connecting even more dots along the way. In the the audio that goes along with the teaching, more clicked as I talked. I’m sure that will continue on for quite some time. What I hadn’t taken into consideration until the very end was my formal training as a musician. When you speak from experience, what you say carries more weight. We often forget that every life experience (including the traumas) can be used as teaching and learning devices. Our experiences are someone else’s teacher.

I’d like to take a moment to encourage you. There are probably things on your heart that would be nice to have answers for. These could be life situations, projects you’re working on, needed direction, etc. Take some time and step into God’s presence. Engage with Him. Engage with Jesus and Holy Spirit. Imagine yourself in a beautiful place where you’re sitting in Their presence - in the garden of your hear (or somewhere else in your inner temple). Enjoy that time and begin to see yourself resonate with what’s coming from within Them. In an attitude of worship (an attitude of thanksgiving and gratitude), allow yourself to just be. Imagine handing over any cares that you have and in turn, you’re handed peace, love, joy, or whatever else you need. Take it into your being and receive it by faith, even if you can’t see, hear, sense, or feel anything. If you find it hard to settle down, you can do what I do. I usually put on music and begin singing (or praying) in my prayer language. I also sing the name of God and imagine stepping into the center of His name and staying there so that my focus is on functioning “in Him.” I do this until I feel peace. Warning! This generally takes more than a few minutes.

In closing, I had struggles in and through this research. I had to learn to deal with my issues and at the same time, trust in God’s plan and timing. Right now, I’m rejoicing in Him for the received revelation. You, too, have the opportunity to step in and receive.

How Does This Fit with NW Ekklesia?

Depending on giftings, personality, and mandate, each person is given assignments that work for them. No two people are alike and will have differing mandates and scrolls even if they're doing something very similar. In this case, my musical training and academic work has opened doors for me to do things that other musicians might not want to do, nor are called to do. That doesn't make any one person's mandate is better than another. In NW Ekklesia, there are many creatives musicians with varying levels of experience and individual callings. You'll see us all work together through worship, recordings (The Mystic Frequency Collaborative) because we honor and respect what each brings to the table.

For me personally, I've been given a glimpse into how the world functions through the lense of music theory. I believe you can explain the entire creation of the universe through music theory. Even Nikola Tesla said that "if you want to understand the universe, think of energy, frequency, and vibration." How does this fit with the musical frequencies of the Hebrew letters? Glad you thought of the question!

Ancient Hebrew culture says the Hebrew letters were part of creation. Whether that's true or not is yet to be determined. However, when I discovered that the musical harmonic series is present in the numerical system (gematria) for the Hebrew letters, I had to realize there may some truth to this ancient belief. The Hebrew culture also says that there are seven divine names of God. So, what did I do? I created albums and songs with those divine names. This music is great "activation" music for meditations, going to your heart garden, worship, entraining with the very essence of who God is, etc. All of the albums listed below utilize the main name of God - Yahweh with the letters Yod, Heh, Vav, Heh. The seven divine names are:

  1. Elohim
  2. Yahweh
  3. Adonai
  4. El Elyon
  5. El Shaddai
  6. Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh
  7. Yahweh Tzevaoth

If you're interested specifically in music where the names of God are used, check out the the list below. Sometimes the names are played on instruments and other times, they're sung. When you hear the clarinet and Native American flute, those songs are playing the names - mostly Yahweh and Yeshua.

Enjoy!

Age Changes and the Future of Christianity

by Del Hungerford

As we enter into the mystery zone (cue space music here), be prepared for some geeky science stuff that could blow everything you thought you knew about history out of the water.

Still interested? Continue onward...

It appears the world is on the cusp of something new. How do we know that? Simply put, things are changing at a rapid rate. We were taught in school to consider history; we either learn from it and move on or repeat it. With a huge push in the early 2020’s to erase certain parts of history, we must ask the “why” question. What is it about history that we are unwilling to revisit? We saw the decimation of statues, name changes of sports teams, banning specific books, etc. because certain organizations decided these items (or people representing those items) were offensive. Supposedly, by removing these things, it was a step in a direction to rewrite history. I ask another question… Does this actually help us rewrite history or is it an attempt to cover it up? How can we learn from our mistakes if we don’t review the situations that caused problems we now live with? We can’t change unless we’re willing to see where we messed up in the first place.

As we look at history, we can see everything that has occurred since the year 1700 is basically a repeat of changes from from earlier ages. The only difference? We have a modern twist or a “variation on a theme” of similar events that appear to escalate during transition times from age to age. Yes, other interesting stuff happens throughout each age but during times of transition, everything is condensed and multiplied. Themes include civil unrest, major weather events, political unrest, great advances in technology, philosophical changes in ideas and understanding, scientific advances, etc. Weather events, pandemics, plagues, and natural disasters also occur more frequently in the transition periods between ages. I write specifically about such events in the book, Kingdom Shift: How to Prepare for God’s Global Reset.

The Great Year

To help understand the “ages,” look at Figure 1 from the video by Randall Carlson (link in sources) where he shows the 25,000 “great year” cycle on a wheel. BP is “before present” with the approximate date range for each age. We know from historical evidence there’s a transition period between the ages lasting anywhere from 100 to 500 years. There’s no set-in-stone method of determining the exact time the shift occurs. However, we can look for patterns in how ages shifted in the past.

Carlson points to natural and often cataclysmic events that tend to occur in the shifts between ages as seen in Figure 2. They are listed on a timeline and are numbered 1 – 16. As in Figures 1 and Figure 3, all pictures are screenshots from the video (listed in the sources).

Figure 1

In Figure 3, the same events on placed on the great year wheel for ease of visualizing exactly at which ages these calamities occur. Do you see the pattern? These patterns are what help scientists determine when a transition begins and ends. Notice that each "cycle" within a great year is 25,000 years which is divided into 12 "great months" of approximately 2,000 years each.

Question? Is it possible that the creation of the earth as described in Genesis 1 actually refers to "great" years, months, and days? If that indeed is the case, Adam and Eve may have existed at least 25,000 years ago. Depending on how many great years were between Adam and Eve and the Israelites, it's hard to say for sure. It's something to at least consider.

Moving along to the two comparisons of natural events over the last 25,000 years in Figure 2 and Figure 3.

Figure 2

Figure 3

We are in the age shift between Pisces and Aquarius. Notice the historical events that have occurred during this age shift (Figure 3). Certain groups would like us to believe what we’re going through now has to do with climate change. However, according to history, we’re witnessing a normal cycle. From a spiritual perspective, I discuss why these disasters may continue to occur in the book Kingdom Shift. Because I discuss that in detail in the book, feel free to purchase it on Amazon and check out my thoughts on the subject.

For now, we’ll look beyond natural disasters, pandemics, and other things not necessarily created by humans for clues on what’s occurred from the beginning of civilization as we know it starting with the oldest archeological discoveries about the time of Göbekli Tepe (about 11,000 years ago) until now. We can probably put Göbekli Tepe (located in Turkey) and other megalithic sites near it during the Age of either Virgo or Leo which isn’t long after the last ice age.

Included in the events listed below are the major events from Jewish history as written about in the Bible. Some scholars place Biblical events at different times so no specific dates are listed. If a Biblical event or person appears during an age transition, those are listed.

QUESTIONS to ask as you compare the various ages:

  • What similarities do you see?
  • Can you see a theme in the age transitions?
  • What events stick out to you and why?
  • How could this information help us understand the transition from Pisces into Aquarius?

Age of Gemini approximately 6450 – 6200 to 4300 BC

  • Communication, information exchange and intellectual curiosity.
  • The first proto-writing systems, such as the Vinča symbols, could date back to the Gemini age, suggesting that the first seeds of written communication were evident earlier than generally accepted.
  • Expansion of trade networks. Trading not only goods but also ideas and cultural practices across regions would have led to the mingling and fusion of cultures and the rapid spread of innovations.
  • The development of advanced technologies, like plows and wheel-based transportation, also indicates Gemini's curiosity and innovation.
  • Technological advancements would have spurred societal growth, cultural exchange, and the spread of ideas.
  • Adam and Eve sometime during this age? Or, possibly an earlier Age of Gemini (50,000 years ago)?

Age of Taurus approximately 4300 – 4000 BC to 1700 – 2000 BC

  • The great flood (Noah’s flood) as a possible transition from Gemini into Taurus (the beginning of Taurus).
  • Time of Isaac is a possible transition period from Taurus to Aries (at the end of Taurus).
  • Cuneiform tablets are considered the first form of writing at this time.
  • Flourishing of early civilizations and the growth of art, culture, and the material aspects of human life.
  • The Bronze Age falls within this period in mainstream history, marked by advancements in metalworking and the proliferation of trade networks.
  • Technological and economic developments echo Taurus's association with material growth and wealth accumulation.
  • The rise of early civilizations, such as the Sumerians, Egyptians, and the Indus Valley, also marks this period.
  • Increased agricultural productivity, infrastructural development, and wealth accumulation.
  • The construction of lasting monuments such as Stonehenge. These structures might have served not just as religious or astronomical tools, but also as expressions of societal wealth and power. Some scholars place the Egyptian Pyramids during the time of Göbekli Tepe (Ages of Virgo and Leo between 13,000 to 8600 BC.)

Age of Aries approximately 2000 – 1700 BC to 200 BC – 1 CE (AD)

  • Abraham during the transition from Taurus to Aries.
  • Time period of Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and Moses.
  • The Exodus occurred somewhere between the 15th century around 1450 BC with a late date in the 13th century around 1270 BC.
  • Invention of the alphabet (proto-Sinaitic script thought to be Hebrew).
  • Significant military advancements, territorial expansion, and a shift toward more aggressive societal structures.
  • Several powerful empires, including the Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, rose to prominence.
  • Mainstream history during this period is characterized by territorial conquests and the spread of cultural and political influence.
  • This period also saw significant advancements in military technology, from the development of iron weapons to the creation of advanced tactical formations like the Greek phalanx and the Roman legion.
  • The emergence of monotheistic religions, like Zoroastrianism and later Judaism, suggests a significant shift in spiritual practices.

Age of Pisces 200 – 1 BC to 1700 – 2020 (?) CE

  • Birth and death of Jesus at the beginning of Pisces.
  • The beginning of Christianity from approximately 30 CE onward.
  • Unification of the Christian church by Constantine around 324 CE.
  • Rise in spirituality and the blurring of cultural, societal, and even personal boundaries.
  • The advent of Christianity and later Islam during this period marked significant shifts in religious practices. The focus on compassion, forgiveness, and spiritual unity embodied by these religions.
  • This period also saw the continued rise and spread of empires, leading to the intermingling and fusion of cultures, reflecting of boundary dissolution. The spread of the Roman Empire, for example, led to the assimilation and integration of various cultures under one political entity.
  • The Renaissance and the Age of Enlightenment, characterized by a renewed interest in the arts, sciences, and individual human rights.
  • Significant advancements in human thought, emphasizing empathy, curiosity, and the exploration of new ideals.

Age of Aquarius 1700 (transition) – 2020 to 3700 – 4000 AD (approximately)

  • Transition out of the “church age” into ??
  • Lots of civil, religious, governmental, and cultural changes during the transition period
  • Age of Enlightenment appears to be when this age began (1700’s) – author’s opinion based on evidence of recurring themes in previous age changes.

Where Does This Lead Us?

Many sources are listed at the end of this article for personal research. The goal here is to provide the basic information to get you started on your own journey of discovery. It’s obvious we’re in another transition period where the Church Age will morph into something different. If we look at the types of events that occur religiously during the various age shifts, we can see a variety of religions through paganism, gnostic beliefs, mysticism, the beginning of Judaism, various eastern religions, and many more. It’s obvious throughout history that spiritual beliefs “flavored” everyday life. This includes atheism because no belief in God is still a belief system that’s adhered to. Atheism is about worshiping self.

During the change of each age, religious beliefs appear to go through major shifts. At the beginning of Pisces, Jesus is born, and a variety of sects (religious groups) break off from Judaism and are called “Christians.” Just like today, there were many different groups and belief systems centered about Jesus or “Christus” as he was called. Once Constantine made Christianity the centralized religion in Rome, it changed the “flavor” of how Christianity functioned. In Paul’s time, how the Ekklesia (church) functioned was very different than how Constantine set up his new church. Many writings that were considered part of the early church were abandoned in favor of more recent writings that lined up with Constantine’s desire for a certain hierarchy and structure. This included bishops and priests. This is discussed in more detail in a previous article (in the sources section).

Conclusion

Our focus now becomes WHAT will the church look like as the transition from Pisces to Aquarius continues? What can we glean from history?

  • Judaism was established at the end of Aries and continues to flourish today.
  • A newer religion – Christianity, formed out of Judaism as Pisces began.
  • Many eastern religions have similar stories that mirror those in the Bible that also became prominent during Pisces.
  • Great persecution and uprisings occur during the times of religious transition from age to age.
  • Governments often want to control religions.
  • Religion continues to be a key factor in people’s daily lives no matter what age it is.

Looking at the transition between Pisces to Aquarius, we see similar adjustments between Judaism and Christianity. Now, we’re transitioning from how we view Christianity into something new. However, we don’t yet know what that will look like. Christianity fulfills scripture in Isaiah that talks about a coming savior. Jesus fulfilled Old Testament scriptures where he became the bridge between us and God. This allowed for direct communion with God.

Constantine put the church back under a priestly covering. Was that what God intended? If we look at the early church, Paul had a different idea which was abandoned in favor of Christianity functioning a bit more like Judaism but with a twist. Rules and laws applied but instead of sacrificing animals, we were “atoned” through a priestly blessing and forgiveness via the blood of Jesus. Most Christian organizations still function under a similar format as Constantine set up with variations on what the priestly covering looks and feels like.

The question begs to be asked again… is this what God intended? When Moses went up the mountain, the entire nation of Israel was invited to go with Moses. Out of fear, they opted for Moses to be the leader so they’d have someone to follow and sent him up the mountain alone. God wanted relationship with the entire nation, not just one man. Did they miss a golden opportunity?

Upon Jesus’ death, we were once again invited into that place of intimacy when the veil ripped in the temple. This is symbolic of the priestly duties no longer being needed. From that point on, we had direct access to God, which is what Paul taught. Then Constantine stepped in and brought the church back into the priestly order. God wants relationship with His people. Must we go through a priest for that relationship? Based on what God said to Moses, the death of Jesus as an atonement for our sins, and the veil in the temple ripping after Jesus’ death, I’d say the answer is no – we don’t need a priest to cover us any longer.

Based on history, it appears the Constantinian church will continue into and through Aquarius. Some will stay with the church while others venture into the unknown for what’s yet to come. Like Paul originally began, I suspect there will be groups of people with similar ideas that function as a unit in a specific “call” for each group. Leadership stays within the group where they answer to one another to keep them in balance. They may be mystical groups, those with a prophetic, healing, or apostolic emphasis, and even some evengelical. What can we learn from the early church? We each stay in our "lane" and do what God has called us to do while respecting the call of others even if the beliefs are different than ours. Had groups around the time of Christ done this, it's possible that the church would look very different today.

It all boils down to God desiring personal relationship with His people. As we foster personal intimacy with God, we become co-creators with God that’s spoken about throughout the Bible and other writings that never made it into the Bible. When we learn to understand our role in the creative process, I suspect that many of the natural disasters and events that occur throughout the ages will subside because we’ve stepped into our Sonship role as “Sons of God.” From there, creation no longer groans for the manifestation of the Sons of God because we’ve answered the call God offered to the Israelites. “Come up here” is what John was invited to do in Revelation 4:1. God invited not only Moses up on the mountain but the entire Israelite community. We’ve been offered the same opportunity. Will we accept the call? The more of us that say, “yes,” I suspect we’ll begin to function as we were ordained from the beginning of creation. However, it must come from relationship with God first, which is what Constantine missed.

As we accept the call into more responsibility, maturity, and co-creating, we become part of God's "business" plan (for lack of a better term) called "God and Sons." There's something ponder over!

Shalom!

Church Age vs the Kingdom Age

by Del Hungerford

In 2020, I had an encounter with the Lord that lasted a full month. Intermixed with my teaching duties and other life happenings, it was like I lived in this place for the entire month of October, 2020. When it was all over, a book came out of it – Kingdom Shift: How to Prepare for God’s Global Reset. In the encounter, I was taken to an ancient document room in heaven where Yahweh put blank pieces of paper in front of me with titles on them. I was then instructed to go and research the information in the titles. I knew this information had to do with a global reset of sorts. And, this was before world governments began to talk about their version of a global reset. I knew I was onto something.

Here is a quick synopsis of that encounter with Yahweh in the document room in the heavenlies…

As I enter the room, I focus on the many books skillfully placed on the shelves in an ancient document section of a library in heaven. Many are bound with animal skins. Some appear thrown together with string-like threads connecting the pages. Others are simply rolled up scrolls written on parchment and animal hide. There are even cuneiform tablets, pictographs on slabs, and important writings on cave walls that were transferred to a recording device for storage in this room. I did not expect answers to my current event questions to be in this room.

In my spirit, as I peruse the books, I hear that books can be written on people’s hearts. When people die and go to heaven, books in their hearts are finally written and are now in this room. In the center of the room is a giant oval-shaped wood table that can seat about twenty. Strewn across the top of the table are piles of paperwork waiting for me to sort. Yahweh sits across the table from me, pointing out key pages to investigate. At the top of each page is a title that describes the contents of the document. (Chapter 1)

By the end of this month-long encounter, I had taken a list of titles on blank pieces of paper, researched the topics, and wrote the book. The key was to see HOW God was moving from our current “age” into what’s coming next. At the time of Jesus, they were moving from the age of Aries (bull symbol) to the age of Pisces (fish symbol). We now call it the “church age.” This is one reason the church adopted the fish symbol as a representation for Christianity. As we transition from the age of Pisces to Aquarius (water symbol), we must ask the same questions about what’s next. Many now coin this next age as the “Kingdom Age.” We are leaving the church age and entering a higher conscious level of functioning. How will that look? To get an idea, we revisit the transition from Aries to Pisces to gather clues. What will Christianity look like as we move into a new age?

The "great year" is a 25,000 year cycle that changes "ages" about every 2,000 years. Transitions from age to age are consistently filled with similar instances such as civil unrest, great advances in philosophy, political unrest, amazing artistic endeavors, scientific discoveries, religious transitions, advances of all types, natural disasters, pandemics, and much more. What’s happening in the 2000’s mirrors what occurred in Jesus’ time but with a modern twist. What can we learn from a previous age shift to prepare us for what’s coming next? The chart below compares the early church with the modern church based on the documentary and early church writings mentioned in the sources at the end of this article.

Where does this leave us in 2024?

We can see from the comparison in the above chart that the way Paul structured the church is not the way the modern church functions. The "Pauline" church is the earliest form of Christianity. Why did it change from Paul's established protocols? Why was there a need to create a central church? Why did women lose the ability to be leaders? Why did Constantine take some books (letters to churches) out of his new Bible while adding others that weren't considered part of the original teachings? There are many speculations as to why this is the case. In order to answer any question best, we must look at human behavior for answers. A good question to start with is "who wanted the control?"

In Moses’ time, God wanted to meet with the people as a whole. Yahweh invited everyone to go up the mountain with Moses. The people were afraid and told Moses to go for them. Meanwhile, they created the golden calf to worship because Moses was gone too long. They had a desire for someone else to teach them how to have a relationship with God. Fear kept them from understanding what God truly had for them. My guess is this is one reason they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. It's obvious from the behavior of the Israelites over time that they preferred to have a leader tell them what they needed to know. Remember, they'd been under a pharoah for 400 years so that's what they understood! The behavior exhibited by the Israelites does seem to fit human nature based on historical evidence in most cultures.

Yahweh’s desire is that everyone have a personal relationship with Him. This is the reason Jesus died on the cross. His death created a bridge we could cross for direct access to Yahweh, just like He had with Adam and Eve before the fall. No longer did the priests need to sacrifice animals in a temple for the atonement of sins. What would have transpired had the entire group of Israelites gone up the mountain with Moses? Would we have the Ten Commandments as we know them today or would they have looked different? How would the priests function in the temple had everyone agreed to meet with God on the mountain? Would the Israelites have made it to the promised land much sooner?

Mankind strongly desires leaders, including religious leaders (and gods). The reasons for this vary depending on cultures. It does appear by looking at all the statues of gods throughout history, a need for a visual god might be due to our desire for God to be tangible. God didn’t want His people to have kings and gave them judges instead, of which one was a woman (Debra). Eventually, Saul was anointed king by the prophet Samuel after the Israelites pestered God for a king. From that point forward, Israel struggled. We find the situation to be similar to any current king, prime minister, or president in modern society. We can’t imagine what it would be like to function without these leaders because it’s all we’ve known. Similarly, we can’t imagine what it’s like to function without the structure of the modern church because we've never experienced a different way. In order to step into the Christianity of the Kingdom Age, it's going to require a shift in mindsets with an understanding that the Kingdom Age could be quite different than the Church Age.

Looking back at the Pauline church, we see a family or group setting where everyone contributed equally. I’m guessing that people who didn’t want to pull their weight were uninvited from those communities. There was probably no sense of entitlement within well functioning groups. Entitlement comes when we want others to do for us that we should do ourselves. In Paul's time, it appears many pre-established communities morphed into something new once Christianity came on the scene. As the apostles traveled through various regions, they met with these communities to establish Christian basics and to help them correct doctrinal errors.

Because these communities were often pre-established, it seems natural to assume the apostles arranged to visit, preached the gospel, and won them over to Christ. History shows "many were added to the faith daily." Therefore, it's not too much of a stretch to see how existing belief systems might have been a foundation for believing the gospel of Christ. These groups had some pre-established godly ideas that helped multiply Christian concepts. Consider what it would be like taking completely new concepts and letting people sink or swim with no previous knowledge of the ideas. For example, we couldn't possibly understand flying a group of people to the moon, dropping them off, and saying “now, go live your life.” They would have no previous knowledge of how to function in that setting and might not be able to survive. It only makes sense that Christianity spread quickly because many pre-existing groups (as suggested in the documentary) were already on a godly path even if some of their beliefs weren't Christian.

I suspect a sense of taking what's known and shifting focus will continue as we move into the Kingdom Age. I envision the modern "church" acting as a bridge where people learn to understand Christian ideals and then begin to transition into something we don't yet know what it will look like. Some will stay on the church bridge to help newbies while those ready for more may fly over the bridge because they're primed for what's coming. I liken this process to the twelve grades in school. There are teachers at different levels to help students transition from one grade to the next. The church age is like high school where we learn basic doctrine and how to function as a Christian. For many people, this is as far as they want to go, which is fine. Those who want more will continue their "education" in "Kingdom School."

"Kingdom School" begins beyond the high school (church age) level, which is where I believe we're heading as the primary manner of functioning in the Kingdom Age. Kingdom college is about functioning as Sons of God, adding a deeper understanding of the supernatural realms and diving deeper into the mysteries of God through relationship WITH God in a way many are now experiencing. As a SPIRIT, soul, and body, we must learn to function equally in all "dimensions" of our being. We can't live totally by what we physically see, hear, sense, and feel. Even quantum physics says we live in a hologram! The Kingdom Age is about adding things "beyond what we see." Some call this the mystical realm, which has been prevalent throughout history. Many "mystics" were God-fearing men and women who believed and practiced what quantum physics is now discovering. The point here is many people understand there's more to being a Christian than what our physical senses tell us. It's about relationship with the One who created us so we partner in the creation process with Him.

There has to be people at all grade levels of Kingdom School to help with the various transitions from Pisces to Aqurius. As we mature, we become partners in the business, "God and Sons" while studying in the graduate degrees of heaven. I discuss how this works in the Maturing as a Mystic (book) and Maturing as a Mystic: Workbook. To read about the books and order them in paperback or Kindle, click on the titles.

God is Loving and gently guides us through any transformation process. As we enter the Age of Aquarius, I suspect that the modern church will act as a “bridge” that leads us into the Kingdom Age but once we get there, it’s going to be very different than how we're used to seeing the church function. It seems Paul understood the direction of the church (ekklesia), but man’s desire for bishops and pastors changed the course because the responsibility for leadership was taken from the people and put on these revered men.

This decision put us back under Old Testament law. That's obvious by looking at the Catholic church where sins are forgiven only by a priest during "confession." In order for us to function as we were intended, it seems we must first disengage from the laws set up by the Constantinian church.

Holy Order

I must first mention here that order is needed. Just like a military, there must be some form of "rank and file." However, this comes with responsibility from people at all ranks and levels. No one person or level is more important than the other because an organization can't function well unless everyone at the various levels is doing their part. Based on my 50+ years of being in the church, major adjustments are needed in our paradigm of order so we're prepared for what's coming during the age transition. The modern church has put too much empahsis on single leaders as our "savior." When those leaders go through "moral challenges," it often destroys an entire congregation or movement like we saw in the 1980's and 1990's. Had those organizations been under sound "order" to begin with, there would have been less "fall out." Why did this happen? People worshiped the minister, not God.

How does God want relationship with us? Jesus’s death triggered an earthquake where the veil in the temple ripped, exposing the Holy of Holies to those other than priests. This act allowed mankind direct communication with God which meant we don’t need priests or bishops to tell us how to act and live. We can meet personally with God on our own. However, we need community to provide checks and balances to keep us focused, which was the Pauline way. A church “covering” is the community at large where we honor one another equally with the gifts within each of us so we function as the “body” of Christ. Our "protection" is within a community that know each other, not necessarily a prophet, apostle, bishop, or pastor that we don't have personal relationship with. This is evidenced in how Paul and the other apostles set up the "churches" that were run by both men and women within the community, many holding positions of leadership to assist with the needed checks and balances.

Based on history, once the Age of Aquarius is fully established, I suspect what we know as "church" will transform into something new as everyone steps into a deeper personal relationship with God where we co-create with Him. If we don't learn to transition, we'll go around the mountain again, just like the early church did when Constantine basically set us back into Old Testament law. How a transition looks, only time will tell as communities come together without relying on a single leader directing spiritual traffic.

We must become responsible for our own spiritual health and question what's taught by discovering what's true from what's hype or false. We must honor leaders without worshiping them. We know we're worshiping someone when we do what they say no matter what. In a sense, they become our conscience. Those who worship pastors or bishops will do anything to get on the good side of those people. When told to "jump!" man pleasers respond, "how high?" We were given the ability to think and process through what's been presented so we don't become brainwashed. How else do you think the German people were completely indoctrinated into the ideals of Hitler in less than ten years? They blindly accepted and believed everything the German government told them. Cults are formed when people follow leaders without questioning the ideals. Reason with one another to find truth and "spit out" what doesn't line up with God's character.

When God invited the Israelites to, “come to my mountain as a people,” they had an opportunity to establish a new precendent as a community. They chose one person to lead them rather than going to the mountain of God as a group, which cost them personal relationship with their Source. Nearly 3,000 years later, we have that same opportunity to do what the Israelites chose not to do. We're at a transition point, which is the perfect opportunity to assess where we want to be. Will we live by fear as we move from one age to the next or will we step into a Perfect Love that feeds our faith that then catapults us into how we’re to function as Sons of God in this new age?

Be sure to take some time to peruse through the sources for this post. As we all should, it's our responsibility to look at what's presented to us and discover our own answers rather than believe everything we hear or read. I've added key points from the sources in this article to create a sense of curiosity within you for further study. You decide what to do, how to think, and how to act. Your very life depends on it! As we mature into Sonship, we govern our own lives within a community of believers to help keep us in balance. We're responsible for doing the work rather than relying on a preacher to dictate what we're to believe. If we don't question what we're being taught, we'll never fully understand a truth. Many sources (below) are mixed with non-Christian beliefs but adhere to Christian ideals. What the materials point to is HOW the early church functioned and what beliefs led to what we know as the church today.

Sources

The third source (below) will take a very long time to go through but appears to be a complete list of accepted scholarly materials written and available at the time of the early church, including Gnostic sources. It's important to understand the mindset of those living at the time of Jesus to grasp how the church was established to begin with. Therefore, many of the writings are from non-Christian sources but do provide an historical perspective. Happy researching!

Harmony Within the Spirit, Soul, and Body

by Del Hungerford

Have you ever been on a journey that seemed to take forever? On this journey, it's all by faith where eventually answers to questions came through living life?

In 2019, I moved from Moscow, Idaho further north after losing my home to eminent domain. That followed walking through an abusive marriage where I discovered my true identity in the healing process. It seemed like many things were a bit haywire for a season but somehow I knew light would be shed upon the process. From 2010 to late 2023, I worked through a lot of life "junk" so I could be healtier - spirit, soul, and body. That journey of discovery led me to understand there is an order in which our being prefers to function. I describe that process in this post and in several writings I've done over the past few months.

As of this writing (July of 2025) but by the time you see it, I'll have moved toward the Moscow area again because the season of my life is changing. where new adventures await! We begin with a story from not long ago...

ENTER.... February of 2024

I'm sitting in my strategy room in heaven with Papa. I hear, "it's time to write another book." I'd been pondering the idea for some time but hadn't quite decided or even figured out how that would look, maybe because I was also in the middle of making the decision to move locations again.

In 2009, I'd written the book, But Words Will Never Hurt Me. As you can tell by the title, the book was about living through an abusive marriage. In 2015, I added a supporting workbook.

After learning about and practicing "kingdom protocol," for quite some time, it was evident the new book would be a sequel to But Words Will Never Hurt Me. Sitting down at my computer in early February while snow and super cold weather continued to drown north Idaho in wintery goodness, I began to write.

After some time, I felt the title of the book should be Transforming Mindsets. Why that title? It involved me completely reframing everything I thought about how to function in life.

After writing Transforming Mindsets, I went on another journey of discovery as the Lord began to speak to me about my journey of healing over the last twenty years. For readers on this website, it's obvious in my books that I've followed a few "fringe" teachers that the religious community tends to scoff at. I have to ask the question about the elephant in the room to these people... Is what you're doing working? If so, where's the evidence? Evidence demands a verdict. Hmmm... I think there's a book with this name by Joshua McDowell. His book is about Biblical archeaological discoveries. Mine is about how people in church walk in healing - spirit, soul, and body.

The question remains... what are WE doing to demonstrate life abundantly? Are we living what we speak? How are we demonstrating the Love of God to those around us? Do people want what we have? Do we mostly live a healthy and vibrant life? Is our "joy meter" higher than it's even been before? Do we see things from a positive perspective even in the middle of negative junk? If we answer yes to these questions, then we're doing the right things despite what religious communities have to say. Therefore, I rest my case. The proof of our heart attitudes lies in our behavior.

Immediately following writing Transforming Mindsets, I knew there was more work to do. I then began a teaching (self-paced class) where I show people my process of walking into greater healing. This came through a variety of teachings along with a lot of self-discovery and spending time in the garden of my heart with Father, Jesus, and those within the Cloud of Witnesses. Some now call the garden of our heart the "inner castle." It's the term I use in the teaching set because it's what people are familiar with.

Mountains, Gates, and Castles Course

As I put together this new teaching, I went back over the last 14 years of my life and began to piece together the process of discovery. What led to everything? I was sick and couldn't understand what was causing the illness. The doctors couldn't figure it out. Counselors and inner healing experts were stymied and I had nowhere else to go but directly into the arms of Jesus.

Using my sanctified imagination, I continued a journey of discovery into how our being functions - one like a mountain where we "resonate" or shine forth to others what's coming from our inner self. When we learn to function from our spirit that aligns with the Perfect Love of God, everything lower down the mountain comes into alignment. When we function from our soulish emotions, the best we can function is from the bottom half of the mountain. In this teaching set, Mountains, Gates, and Castles, I use mountain symbolism to describe how our spirit, soul, and body work together

A snippet of what I learned...

I realized that I had to learn to function from my spirit that's connected directly to God. First Love plus spirit equals healthy living. Some say the spirit can be corrupted. I disagree. Why? I think it's more of a blockage between the soul and spirit. This happens when our main functioning ability comes from the soul where we're led by negativity that comes from our emotions. During this time, the spirit takes a back seat.

I had to re-awaken my spirit. I did that through opening and cleansing the "gateways" of the spirit, soul, and body. Once the spirit gates are opened and filled with Perfect Love, the soul says, "Hey!? What's going on up there? I want some of that!" The soul then has an anchor for living out of abundance. The body, which sits at the bottom of the mountain hangs in for the ride and eventually realizes what's coming out of the soul is much different that before. A positive outlook on life, despite circumstances causes the body to ask, "Hey!? What's going on up there? Let me in on the secret!"

We know that emotional issues settle in the body. There's plenty of science out there now to prove this. I'm also living proof of how that works, too. After doing gateway work DAILY for about 9 months, I realized that the 19-year illness was gone! How did that happen? Finally, my spirit had taken its righful place at the top of the mountain where it could see everything from a higher perspective as it entangled with Perfect Love. Because my spirit took its rightful place on my "seat of rest," my soul could step into its proper position as well. The body can then follow suit. The entire process is still ongoing as I continue to mature. It will be the same for you.

VIA Assessment and Passion Recipes Course

The other puzzle piece involved understanding my strengths and how to use them. I created another teaching set titled "VIA Assessment and Passion Recipes." where I figured out methods of categorizing our strengths and passions. As per my usual method, I hear teachings of others and create my own exercises and step in my heavenly strategy room for more guidance and direction that uniquely fits my design.

Part of my "call" in life is to discover simple methods of learning how to do things. I then show others and hopefully, this helps them their journey, too. This is the job of a teacher, which comes natural for me.

We all have passions and desires. As I began to function on my personal mountain seated "in Christ" on the throne of my life where I'm functioning from a position of rest, everything else began to fall into place. I finally understood there is an proper order for functioning as a spirit, soul, and body being. This creates a three-stranded cord or "bench of three" as some say that brings about a governmental authority we have over our lives. This is truly mountain top living! When I'm seated in rest with Christ, I'm not a living sacrifice that continues to crawl off the altar. Why not? It's because I stay seated "In Him."

When I do get off my seat of rest, it gets easier and easier to get back on once I realize what I've done. At first, I was too steeped in "stinking thinking" that had seered itself into my consciousness. That took time to unravel. As I began to walk through what I've presented in these two teaching sets, and my book, I've become a healthier person, spirit, soul, and body. My personal journey of healing is told in the book, Transforming Mindsets. If my journey resonates with you, I encourage you to see if what I have to offer may help you.

May you enjoy your own personal journey of discovery! The most important factor? I encourage you to purchase Transforming Mindsets and the two courses, especially if you're still on that road to discovring your personal identity as a Son of God or... you're dealing with emotional or physical issue where you could use some healing.

The most important thing to do is enjoy the journey!

Spiritual Warfare – a New Perspective

by Del Hungerford

As we grow into maturity as "Sons of God," we learn a process of spiritual warfare from a higher perspective. We leave the "commanding and demanding" behind. Sons of God are more than Christians. They learn to step beyond the veil into intimacy with Yahweh in order to understand every situation from His perspective. This involves checking our own ideas, paradigms, religious teachings, and expectations at the door. When we function from that place of intimacy and love IN Christ, our perspective changes. We get to practice the process. That often comes with tests along the way. How we respond to those tests determines our level of maturity.

During 2020 (COVID-19), the world was in a lock down. People lost jobs, many tempers were hot, and others did some pretty stupid stuff. That spells it out in a nutshell. We saw this throughout the world as well as in our families and neighborhoods.  How do we function in and through this? As Sons of God, we start by cleaning up the messes in our personal lives first. When headway is underway in that department, our sphere of influence then expands to our families, and eventually to those around us. We gain more responsibility in larger arenas as we develop a more intimate relationship with Yahweh, working from within (our hearts). That then resonates outwards where our interactions and relationships with those around us are affected by the love of Yahweh that we carry from the center of our being - that place of rest IN Christ where we function from His love in the holy of holies of our heart - in our personal temple. How we function through His love is our "behavior barometer.”

Example Time!

Since I began to understand a bit more in how to deal with things from my position of being IN Christ on my seat of rest, my main focus for several years has been on myself and dealing with negative triggers and personal junk that keeps me from moving forward.

What goes on in my neighborhood hasn't been my focus. That being said, during the lock down, it was pretty wild around here. Can you say "party central?" Sure, I knew you could. That should give you a visual, especially if you've ever lived on a college campus and survived the weekend craziness. My current neighborhood seems to be full of "college wannabes" who believe partying is the answer to life problems. At times, it takes me back to Saturday nights on Greek Row where a lot of crazy things went on. Moving right along...

In the middle of June (2020), the neighbor across the street (I'll call "Jay") came home from work already extremely drunk. Remember, I live in north Idaho and we weren't as shut down as other states. Loggers and others who work in the woods could still work. Anyway, a party was underway down the street that involved another two homes. I was out gardening and watched Jay stumble down the street towards the other houses while yelling at the top of his lungs. I heard Yahweh say "Pay attention." So, I stayed outside and continued to plant flowers. About an hour later, a yelling match started between Jay and another neighbor, also across from me.

Something within me rose up as I ran over to them knowing in my gut that if this wasn't stopped, there would be bloodshed. I stood between both men, facing the non-drunk neighbor (I'll call Aaron). Jay was calling Aaron some pretty ugly names. That fired up Aaron and they started to duke it out. Keep in mind, I'm still standing between them. At the same time, a group of people at Party Central stood in the street hoping for a good brawl as they cheered Jay on for the win. Another non-drunk neighbor (I'll call Bobby) came over to assist. Long story short, I was able to get Aaron to back down while Bobby worked with Jay. The entire time, I focused on releasing a frequency of peace over our neighborhood. By this time, I'd had enough of the mayhem! And, I knew it was the right time to get involved.

After the main fight was over, I got out one of my flags and stood in the middle of the street worshiping and singing in tongues while focusing on releasing God's peace and love up and down our street. I then wandered down to the group that was still gathered at Party Central. One guy was mad that I'd yelled at them to shut up as they encouraged the fight. I looked him straight in the eye and said "I'm sorry that I personally told you to shut up. Will you forgive me?" He stammered around a bit and then didn't say another word the entire time I stood with them. I began to change the topic away from the fight by asking them questions about themselves. I remained jovial, calm, and was a bit silly at times. My goal was to change the atmosphere.

Let's fast forward a bit... The police did get involved and came to see me the next day, especially since I was the only person who was directly involved throughout the entire incident, beginning to end. Those at Party Central yelled some pretty horrific things towards Aaron for several weeks prior to this incident, trying to incite a fight.

When they finally got their wish, it created a frenzy of chaos. After my discussion with the police, many things came out in the open. Those at Party Central got a rude awakening. There's a video of the entire incident, which is now in the hands of our local sheriff.  Hmm.... this might make people think twice about "verbal vomiting."

My goal in this? I want the love of God and His peace to be prevalent in my neighborhood but... I can't control the behavior of others. What I can control is my own behavior and what I RELEASE in my sphere of influence There had to be strategy. Some of that came as I stepped into the situation and more came later. Eventually, I wrote a letter to all participants and viewers of this event outlining the truth behind the accusations they continued to hurl at Aaron. In the letter, I provided the facts behind their accusations towards Aaron and encouraged us to work together as neighbors. With that letter, I delivered a pot of flowers that I'd released God's love and peace into. How did I do that? Matter carries the memory of what it comes into contact with. Remember prayer cloths from the New Testament? As we pray over things and release our intent into them, our prayers, decrees, and declarations are then released to those who receive those items. The night of the incident, I released worship in the middle of my street in the very area where the conflict took place. Party Central probably got a good kick out of that but I didn't care.

As we begin to mature into Sonship, opportunities present themselves in the form of tests and trials. I was directly involved in spiritual warfare during this incident but not in the traditional manner that we've been taught for years. We can release love, peace, joy, kindness and other attributes of God's character into every situation surrounding us. Anything of a stronger frequency overrides those of a lower frequency. We call that "entrainment." Entraining forces the negative stuff to come under the authority of stronger frequencies such as love, peace, joy, etc. When we focus on releasing God's love and peace, fear and its cousins can't join the party! This is truly spiritual warfare at its best directly from the heart of Yahweh! I release a frequency of Love and peace that overrode the negative spiritual atmosphere. There was no "commanding and demanding" going on with the demonic entities controlling the drunk crowd.

Just so you know, I've never done anything like this before. I don't jump into the middle of fights (uh... I'm a woman...), especially between two men - one of them being beyond drunk. What we do must come from the heart of Yahweh. As we are seated in that place of rest IN Christ, we CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens us. As of this writing in 2025, we've had no further problems. Well, one night those at Party Central accidentally blew up their lawnmower but that only destroyed the lawnmower. The loud KABOOM!!! shook our houses but I'll have to say... it was entertaining watching them scurry away from their bonfire. After the big fight, I placed a portal of peace at the entrance of our neighborhood and that's helped a lot. I'm guessing this is one reason no one was hurt when the lawnmower exploded either. Hmmmm....

Time will tell as I continue to foster the attitude of love and peace to those around me as I step into my authority of who I am in Christ. The same will be true for you, too. In this situation, I'm fostering a neighborly atmosphere by demonstrating God's love for my neighbors as Yahweh shows me what to do and how to do it. I love Mr. Roger's question, "Won't you be my neighbor?"

What did I learn from this? As I mature in Sonship, I'm given opportunities to affect the atmosphere around me. Did I pass the test? I believe that I did. In the midst of the fighting, I honored the two men. I didn't take one side over the other and simply tried to help them understand that what they were doing wasn't helping. Had there been bloodshed, someone would have gone to jail. The group watching? I'm not sure the one guy had ever heard anyone ask for forgiveness. That completely stymied him to the point he didn't utter another word! I took this opportunity to see the situation through Yahweh's eyes. Several years ago, I probably would have behaved differently. Now, I need to continually nurture and demonstrate what I've released. That's the practice part!

Let's spread a little joy, peace, and love to those around us!

A Workman Is Worthy of His Hire

by Del Hungerford

There are several scriptures that relate to the phrase “a workman is worthy of his hire.” To name a few: Luke 10:7, 1 Timothy 5:18, Mathew 10:10, Leviticus 19:13, and Deuteronomy 24:15. CLICK HERE to read those scriptures in Bible Gateway.  Consider looking at each scripture in a variety of translations. Depending on your religious paradigm, the interpretations will vary.

Here’s the issue with our standard belief system concerning people getting paid, specifically to “minister.” For some odd reason, we seem to have it in our minds that since “freely you’ve received – freely give.” This scripture comes from Matthew 10:18. CLICK HERE to read a variety of translations in Bible Hub. I encourage you to read those translations before looking at the definitions below. Once you’ve done that, look at the original Greek in Bible Wheel. CLICK HERE for that information. Here is a synopsis of those definitions.

  • FREELY: δωρεαν dorean {do-reh-an’} without a cause, in vain, for nought, freely, undeservedly
  • RECEIVED: λαμβανω lambano {lam-ban’-o} receive, take, have, catch. To take, to take with the hand, lay hold of, any person or thing in order to use it, to take up a thing to be carried, to take upon one’s self, to take in order to carry away. Without the notion of violence, i,e to remove, take away. To take what is one’s own, to take to one’s self, to make one’s own. To claim, procure, for one’s self. To associate with one’s self as companion, attendant – of that which when taken is not let go, to seize, to lay hold of, apprehend. To take by craft (our catch, used of hunters, fisherman, etc.), to circumvent one by fraud. To take to one’s self, lay hold upon, take possession of, i.e. to appropriate to one’s self. Catch at, reach after, strive to obtain. To take a thing due, to collect, gather (tribute). To take, to admit, receive. To receive what is offered, not to refuse or reject. To receive a person, give him access to one’s self. To regard any one’s power, rank, external circumstances, and on that account to do some injustice or neglect something. To take, to choose, select. To take beginning, to prove anything, to make a trial of, to experience. To receive (what is given), to gain, get, obtain, to get back.
  • GIVE: διδωμι didomi {did’-o-mee} grant, put, show, deliver, make. 1) to give 2) to give something to someone of one’s own accord to give one something, to his advantage. To bestow a gift. To grant, give to one asking, let have. To supply, furnish, necessary things. To give over, deliver. To reach out, extend, present. To give over to one’s care, entrust, commit. Something to be administered. To give or commit to some one something to be religiously observed. To give what is due or obligatory, to pay: wages or reward. To furnish, endue. To give, to cause, profuse, give forth from one’s self. To give, hand out lots. To appoint to an office. To cause to come forth, i.e. as the sea, death and Hell are said to give up the dead who have been engulfed or received by them. To give one to someone as his own. As an object of his saving care. To give one to someone, to follow him as a leader and master. To give one to someone to care for his interests. To give one to someone to whom he already belonged, to return 4) to grant or permit one. To commission.

Let’s take this scripture and reword it a little and see if that changes the meaning. Here’s the original in the NIV: “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.”

Now, let’s replace the words freely, receive and give with another translation that might explain the scripture a bit better. “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Undeservedly you have laid hold of; undeservedly deliver.” There is nothing in any of the above definitions that points toward receiving pay for services rendered. There is no hint of that anywhere! On the other hand, when looking at the scriptures in the first paragraph, there is clear evidence that a workman is truly worthy of his hire. Bottom line, when people provide a service, pay them what they’re worth. If you don’t agree, go somewhere else.

With that, we move onto a story. Many reading this know that I’m a musician and create music for the purposes of it being therapeutic. In addition, I create exercises and “practice” opportunities (available HERE and HERE) for those on a journey of Kingdom maturity. As a music creator and teacher, these materials BOTH minister to people AND provide an income for me. In the minds of some, I should be giving out these materials for free. I get that request (only from Christians) on the Healing Frequencies Music website, especially those who really want a particular album but can’t pay for it. In fact, Christians tend to be the cheapest and want something for nothing. The only rude correspondence to date has come from those who say they are Christians – 100% of the time. What does this say about the Christian community as a whole? We've done ourselves no service to the rest of the world when we act like this.

I see some strange attitudes when it comes to Christian conferences as well. Conferences aren’t cheap to host. People fail to realize that renting a building, purchasing supplies, and paying service providers costs money. There’s this paradigm of “God will provide” so you should just let us in for free. I was at a conference where a group of women all wanted a teaching set. They agreed to pool their resources so they could purchase the whole set (as a download) and share it among themselves. In other words, the woman who purchased it would then send a copy of the downloads to the other women so they’d all have their own copy. I watched this play out for a bit while they discussed it and eventually asked a simple question, “Do you think that’s a good trade?” Long story short… after some further discussion, they decided not to go through with it. How do you feel about their discussion?

When you do a job, you’re providing of form of “ministry” to someone whether it be fixing a vehicle, cutting hair, giving money to the teller at the bank for a deposit, etc. That person is doing something for you that you can’t do yourself. So, he/she is ministering to your needs. To understand more of why I say that, consider reading my article about ministry vs. jobs. You'll find it under the blog posts.

From what I’m reading in Matthew 10:8, it doesn’t direct any meaning toward providing services for free. There aren’t scriptures that seem to point to that interpretation either (unless I’m missing one) but there ARE plenty of scriptures that address being paid what you’re worth. Honestly, I think this concept of providing services for free has only been around for 100 years or so. People think Jesus was poor so Christians should be poor, too. I'm not sure when they received that memo but I don't find scriptural references to support that opinion or mindset.

The topic of a workman being worthy of his (or her) wages intermingled with the “freely receive, freely give” concept has messed up some people because we tend to swallow what’s preached at us – hook, line, and sinker. We haven’t been responsible for our own spiritual growth because we allow what pastors teach us as “thus sayeth the Lord.” We seem to have no problem paying a pastor… well…  most of the time. They tend to live on next to nothing and have to get a second job in order to make ends meet while we demand their attention to “fix” issues in our lives that we could often fix ourselves by putting at bit of effort into a good solution. This includes Christian counseling, which I had first-hand experience during marriage counseling. What’s the point if we’re not going to do what’s suggested?

Here’s the thing…. when you pay for something, you have ownership in/of it. When you don’t pay, you have zero ownership unless the giver chooses to turn over the ownership to you. A gift is a choice by the giver, not the recipient.

I was at another conference where one of the speakers kept coming up to the booths saying, “You’ll give me one of those for free?” It was more of a demand than a request. This is all about trading. When you trade, you’re exchanging one thing for another. We can have good trades and bad trades. Much of that depends on our attitude in the midst of the trade. If there’s an expectation that something will be free, that’s a bad trade. Each vendor went ahead and gave this speaker something for free because he kept bugging us. Was that a good trade on his part? I venture to say that it wasn't.

The Bible also states that we’ll reap what we sow. If we sow bad trades, we’ll reap bad trades. If we have expectations that things will be free because we believe they should be, then we’re not operating with honor or good character. That’s also a bad trade. A good trade involves putting something of value towards what you desire. When you do it that way, you own it. When it comes with an expectation, that’s of no value because it dishonors the giver. Let the giver make the choice to freely give.

Where Does This Lead Us?

We now get back to the main point at the beginning – a workman is worthy of his hire. That’s plain and simple with little room for misinterpretation. When reading the various versions of the Bible on this subject, there does seem to be uniform agreement. That’s not the case with Matthew 10:8. Hmmm…. I find that interesting but will leave that up for your own pondering as to why that is.

The key here is that in order to make a good trade, both the giver and recipient should be on the same page. If you find something overpriced, then don’t moan and whine about it. (There is cheese to go with that whine.) Go find something within your price range that works for you. This includes counseling, receiving services of any kind, attending conferences, etc. If we simply don’t have the funds, then let’s not put it on the giver to lower the price enough that we can have what they’re offering. This might be a growing opportunity for each of us to learn how to exercise our faith muscle and see how God provides.

Why expect someone to meet our needs and desires when we can use a situation as an opportunity to sit with Jesus and discuss His best plan? When we learn to look at our situations through the eyes of Yahweh, we often have a completely different picture of the process and any solutions that go with it. As we learn to move from our personal expectations and paradigms to those of Yahweh, we grow in character. I encourage all those reading this to get outside old religious boxes of expecting things to be free just because of a perception that it’s “ministry related.”

For many of us, what we do replaces a 9 to 5 job. We have training in our fields and offer a high quality product. Why should we be expected to give our product and services for free? That attitude is not honoring the God-given gifts of the giver. Even when something is offered for free, it’s “good form” to sow into that person or ministry. What it does is release more blessings over you! It opens the door for more!

Honestly, it took me some time to work through a bad paradigm concerning this topic. The “freely receive; freely give” Bible verse was used as a weapon to get me to give things to people. This included time, service to a ministry, and physical items or services. It’s a rampant problem in the church, especially for those in the artistic community. Why conference hosts often don’t pay the worship team is beyond me. Those leading worship tend to spend more time on the stage than guest speakers.

It seems that we have our priorities a bit messed up concerning two things: 1) the definition of a worker, and 2) our expectation that ministry should be free. I believe that as we honor those who meet our needs and desires (via our pocketbook), we’ll see more breakthrough in our finances.

May you be blessed in your giving and receiving!

Is There Truth in New Age Ideas?

by Del Hungerford

What’s truth and what’s fiction when it comes to “new age thinking?” How do we decipher what’s of man and what’s from God? If there’s truth, how do we find it without walking the tightrope of deception?

These questions plagued me for nearly thirty years. When I asked other believers if they understood any truths behind new age ideas, most often I was met with a blank stare. This subject is taboo in the Christian world where many think that if you even utter the word “new age,” it’s grounds for stepping into enemy territory. Honestly, I think that’s right where the enemy wants us – afraid and running. Why? Because it KEEPS us from truth. The Word says “he that is in us is greater than he that is in the world.” (John 4:4) We’re also told that we are “in Him” and when we function from that place of being “in Him,” there’s no fear. As a reminder… the enemy can only copy; he can’t create. What we see in new age thinking is a copy of the original.

If the enemy can only copy, how do I find the original?

As I research the healing aspects of musical frequencies (Healing Frequencies Music), it requires that I look at materials that seem a bit sketchy. Because I operate IN Christ, I step into the center of God’s name (Yahweh) and FROM that position, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. When I sanctify my imagination as I research, there’s no need to fear deception. I also have key questions that make it a bit easier.

  • Does the information glorify God or man? New age thinkers often believe there’s some form of intelligence that created the universe. But, they fail to see that we can have relationship with God.
  • Does the person/group presenting the information focus on “self” enlightenment as the attainable goal? New age thinking focuses on mankind’s own ability to ascend to higher levels of consciousness.
  • Does the information line up with scientific studies? This includes studies in “fringe science.” Some of these materials eventually turn out to be accurate. Einstein and Tesla are two prime examples of research on the fringes of accepted scientific practices in their day. The current process of “peer reviewing” and the need for research funds puts researchers into scientific boxes that often don’t allow for work outside the established norm. Many new age thinkers base their ideas on accurate scientific studies as well as fringe science which can at times end up being truth.

It’s a bit interesting navigating through what some consider new age videos and materials. Eventually, the underlying intent of a given speaker or organization presents itself. Many start out with solid facts, presenting scientific studies to back up claims. It’s the opinions where things tend to go a bit wonky and underlying intentions are revealed.

In two different YouTube videos (of conferences), well respected new age speakers swore and poked fun at others with differing opinions. The “F” bomb seemed to be a favorite. Both speakers proposed that we attain a higher level of consciousness through “self empowerment.” OK, explain to me how swearing and making fun of people brings us to a higher level of consciousness? Hmmm....

As we better ourselves, we have the ability to reach a higher level of consciousness. The problem? Although much of their scientific research was solid, it was the attitude that stunk like a skunk. There's this godly principle that shows "out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." (Luke 6:4) Their actions in public demonstrated their actual attained level of higher consciousness. Many people would turn off the video at that point. However, this is where we learn to divide the wheat from the chaff. (Matt. 3:12 and Luke 3:17). Take the good and throw out the ugly. Because you're sitting in Christ with a sanctified imagination, there's nothing to fear.

It was at this point when I first started all this research that I used to get out quick, thinking that deception could “get me” if I continued to read/watch. Notice that the underlying tone is fear. The “If I read this, I’ll be deceived!” thought is fear of deception. If we’re fearful of deception, then we don’t know who we are in Christ. It’s that plain and simple. Fear is holds us back from any forward motion. By giving into fear, the enemy wins.

What I’m learning to do before I watch videos or read new age thinking materials is to ascend (go into my heart - the holy of holies of my being) into the presence of Yahweh. I often sit in my heart garden, or possibly a strategy room with a member of the Trinity, and even some in the cloud of witnesses. From my position of being IN HIM, I begin my research. We sit side-by-side going through the materials together. I do everything with a sanctified imagination asking that truth be revealed in the materials.

I’m amazed that researchers quote scriptures. However, they also point out that the same information is in the Koran and other ancient texts. So, they don’t put any special emphasis on the Biblical interpretation. Ultimately, it appears that new age videos/teachings/books focus on how mankind betters ourselves through personal strength and a higher level of consciousness. Notice the goal… it’s all about self. This is a humanistic viewpoint where any ties to our Creator are left out. What’s the key difference between new age thinking and functioning in/through relationship with our Divine Creator? One is self-focused and the other builds relationship with the One who created us.  When the focus is on building relationship with God, we learn and then do like a child learns from a father.

Where we often mess up is in our knee-jerk reactions to materials that have partial truths. We want to throw all new age thinking out because of the twisted truths. I was part of a church that allowed people to give prophetic words.

One lady gave a word almost every Sunday. They were mostly accurate, too. However, she did have a habit of throwing some of her own thoughts and opinions into the mix, which caused many to disregard her words.

Most people blew her off because her words came off as judgmental. If God used a donkey (Numbers 22:21-39) to prophecy, he can use a grouchy woman. It’s possible that God wanted someone else to give the prophetic word. Out of fear, they didn’t so the person waiting and willing gave the word. The “gift” of prophecy is a gift. We aren’t required to be perfect to operate in the prophetic. So, imperfect people give words. And, imperfect people reject/receive them.

In church, the congregation rejected the woman’s prophecies. The two swearing speakers I mention at the beginning? People laughed and joked along with them at their crude remarks. What’s the comparison? I believe had the congregation listened to the woman’s prophetic words, despite her own twist on the interpretation, many would have been set free. The two swearing speakers? Their information lines up with Biblical history and even explains things from an informed historical perspective. Just because they poked fun at people, doesn’t mean what they presented wasn’t truth. It’s the same with the judgmental woman who gave prophetic words. Her information was accurate but the delivery was off. We have to get past the “art of offense” in order to move forward in our lives and receive truths that often stare us down until we pay attention.

Going back to my three questions at the beginning… When I watch videos or read materials with new age thoughts, I realize and understand the focus is on self-empowerment. Everything focuses on self and the ability to do everything within our own human strength. It works to a point because there are spiritual laws for such things. But, when those laws are used in our own strength, we can only go so far.

Example time!

When I was in high school, I decided to try out for All-State Band my sophomore year. The audition materials included playing a chromatic scale (all half steps) at a very fast speed. I practiced and practiced and practiced. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get it up to tempo. One day, my band director watched me and said, “You’re using the wrong fingerings.” Once I started using the correct fingerings, all of a sudden, I could play the scale up to tempo.

How does this relate to new age ideas? It’s very simple. When we do things without the best knowledge, we only go so far. Being “in Christ,” we have the necessary tools to go beyond what we imagine or think. It’s “IN Him,” that we live, move, and have our being. (Acts 17:28). Learning correct fingerings improves scale speed. As a Son of God, that relationship opens up a higher level of consciousness as we are seated on the throne of our life  IN Him. Doing it in our own strength or without proper knowledge? We get stuck at a certain point where forward motion stops, just like I got stuck in learning the chromatic scale. I didn't have the right knowledge to accomplish the goal.

The moral of this story is – when we are IN Christ and function IN the center of His name, we are exactly where we’re supposed to be. IN that position, we function through His eyes. Should deception peak around the corner, we recognize it for what it is. Fear isn’t involved because we’re secure in our identity. There’s a lot of truth we miss simply because we’re afraid of being deceived. As our focus stays on God and seeing Him IN situations, teachings, videos, relationships, etc., His ways become our ways. It’s in this position we learn to love people because God isn’t a respecter of persons. (Acts 10:34). If our focus stays on RELATIONSHIP with God, there’s no need to fear anything. Perfect love casts out all fear. (1 John 4:18) When we’re “in Him,” we are IN love itself. I call this our "in himness." When we’re positioned “in” love, it spreads to those around us. John 13:35 indicates that people will know we’re followers of Christ by our love. As we demonstrate love (through our actions), we can walk into an atmosphere of self-conscious and self-driven people and change that atmosphere with true enlightenment of the “In Him” principle.

What would I like to see? Those who follow the “it’s all about me and what I can do in my own strength” mentality meet and build relationship with the One who created them. Out of that relationship, there’s no stopping what we can do as Sons of God!

Activation!

For this activation, we're going to do a variation of previous exercises. Mix and match them as you desire. If you need some peaceful music, might I suggest you purchase the album Yahweh in the Elements. Choose the song with the name of God that resonates with you on any given day. Then, use the picture below to grab a visual of your seat of rest where you're seated in Christ on the throne of your life. The river flowing into the pool below comes directly from the River of Life. It's full of love for you to infuse into your entire being. Go take a bath in that river and see Perfect Love go into the core of your being - even down to the smallets nanoparticle.

From this position, feel Love moving through your entire blood stream which brings healing to any place in your body that needs it. Imagine that from the throne of your life, Love flows through all your spirit gates, then to the soul gates, and on downward to the body gates. This might be a great activation to do while you physically take a bath or sit in a hot tub. Use these times to engage with your "in himness." Turn inward to your heart - the holy of holies of your physical temple where you engage directly with the godhead. THIS is your place of intimacy where from a position of gratitude, you learn and begin to understand all things of the kingdom.

Ask God to show you the truths from the new age movement that have been twisted for selfish purposes. It's not all about me, it's about me and God TOGETHER! We call this "God and Sons." As a Son, you have the authority to understand ALL things but that can only happen when you turn inward (ascend) to the highest places in your consciousness and entrain (come into agreement with) the very essence of who God is. Build that relationship first! From relationship, then comes knowledge of the deeper things. You're not "going there to get" things. That's not how true relationships work.

Most of all, enjoy the journey!

Authority in Your Seat of Rest

by Del Hungerford

How can we have “authority” while being in that place of rest in our lives? How can we function from a restful position when circumstances try to get the best of us? The first item on the agenda is to make a decision to be “in” a place of rest.

For several days before writing the original post (in 2018), I watched videos on kingship and what it’s like to sit on a throne while ruling and reigning from that position. Both Mike Parsons and Ian Clayton talk about getting on the “seat of rest.” What does this REALLY mean? Although I’ve been “practicing” getting onto the seat of rest for quite some time, I desired to have a greater understanding of how this can affect me in my daily life. Enter from left stage… the British Monarchy.

Things simply seem to happen at times where something pops up and I think, “Hmmm…. maybe I should take a look at that!” In doing some research for Healing Frequencies Music, I was on YouTube and something about Queen Elizabeth popped up as a suggestion to watch. That got my thinker to working, one thing leading to the next.

The suggested video was of her coronation in 1953. So, I watched it. Although it was over two hours long, I was still quite intrigued. With lots of fanfare, crowds lined the streets to have a glimpse at their new queen. Inside Westminster Abbey, the ceremony included symbolism centered around Christian ideals. The entire ceremony focused on Queen Elizabeth as being the anointed one for the position. Does that sound familiar?

At the time, Queen Elizabeth’s coronation was a spectacular event for a couple of reasons. First off, no coronation before that time had ever been televised. The public was given a glimpse of the majority of the ceremony. This made it possible for the entire world to watch! The only part NOT televised was the actual anointing since it was considered an intimate time between the Queen and God. During the anointing, a canopy was placed over her so the cameras couldn’t see how the archbishop conducted that part of the ceremony. Next – for the first time (because it was televised), commentators had the opportunity to explain to the public what was happening throughout the coronation. This included explaining the symbolism of the regalia and crown jewels.

Let’s explore that symbolism for a moment. I’ll list the basic items and provide a quick synopsis of their symbolism. CLICK HERE for the link for further information. CLICK HERE for another website that has a simple explanation of the coronation ceremony and crown jewels.

  • Coronation Chair – It’s known as the St. Edward’s Chair and is an ancient wooden chair that British monarchs sit on during the investiture part of the ceremony. This is where the anointing takes place.
  • Ampulla And Coronation Spoon – used for the anointing. The anthem “Come, Holy Ghost” is recited followed by the music Zadok the Priest by Handel. The anointing is carried out with a golden canopy over the monarchs head since the anointing is considered a very sacred part of the ceremony. Prior to the anointing, the monarch puts on simple white linen clothing with no frills or extra ornamentation.
  • Spurs and Chivalry – the monarch receives a series of ornaments that symbolize the chivalric nature of kingship. For Queen Elizabeth, wrist bands were put on her after she received more robes. This is considered the investing part of the ceremony.
  • The Sword of Offering – The sword symbolizes protection, good, and the punishment of evil.  The sword is then placed on the altar after being presented to the monarch.
  • The Orb – The orb represents the rule of Jesus over the world and is handed to the monarch. After the presentation, the orb is put back on the alter.
  • Ring – The ring represents the monarch’s “marriage” to the nation. It’s presented after the orb and more royal robes.
  • Scepter and Rod – symbolizes the monarch’s role as pastoral carer for her people. It also includes one of the largest diamonds in the world (Cullinan). The scepter has a dove on top that represents the Holy Ghost.
  • St. Edward’s Crown – This crown is only used during a coronation ceremony, where it is placed on the monarch’s head at the moment of coronation. Following the placing of the crown, the words “God save the Queen!” are repeated three times by everyone. Church bells ring, trumpeters play a fanfare, cannons are fired off, anthems are sung, and the crowds generally go wild with excitement. This crown is only worn once – at the time of coronation.
  • Imperial State Crown – This crown is placed on the monarch following the coronation and after the monarch moves from the coronation chair to the enthronement chair. The enthronement chair is where homage is paid to the monarch by the bishops and archbishops. In addition to the crown, the monarch also carries the orb and scepter along with new royal robes. The Imperial State Crown is worn again at the opening of parliament. It symbolizes the sovereignty of the monarch.

Although the information above is only a quick synopsis of the bits and pieces of a British Coronation, it was enough to give me a picture of how to be on the “throne of my life.” It helped me frame in my mind how I can “rule and reign” in my personal life.

Let’s face it, if we don’t have control over our own lives, what we say to others about their lives won’t carry much weight. First we do, then we can show others. As you read through the symbolism, Holy Spirit may highlight things that will help you on your journey.

To practice taking authority in our own lives, we must first see that there’s a throne to sit on. Some people envision this throne at the top of a mountain. Mountains are high. The higher we go, the better view we have of everything below. A mature king or queen will sit on a throne and “rule” without freaking out about everything that he/she comes face-to-face with. So, when life’s circumstances present themselves to me, I have a choice to go to that throne of my life and say to the circumstance, “Sorry, today’s not your day to assert authority in my life. Oh wait, no day is good for that. Good bye!” (Sound of spiritual door slamming…)

Here’s where the symbolism of the crown jewels becomes helpful. I’m a visual learner so when I can get a picture of how something might look, it’s easier to “see” it happen in my life. I’m anointed with the authority to be in control of my life. I do that through Christ who is in me. Then, I receive protection, see myself seated “in Christ,” put on the royal robes or righteousness, receive guidance from Holy Spirit, take the “rods” of authority and then put on a crown which solidifies that I can indeed rule and reign over my own life IN Christ. I actually get a picture in my mind of sitting INTO Jesus INTO a throne where I wrap the robes around the two of us. This is daily practice for me.

Here’s the problem… circumstances present themselves. It’s on the throne that we are in that place of rest because we are “in Him.” When we’re in that restful position, we have the assistance of Yahweh, Yeshua, and Holy Spirit. What more authority could there be than that!? So, when a circumstance comes flitting by, I look at it and then make a choice to stay in that position of rest. Well… that’s my goal. If I stare at it too long and then begin to entertain doubtful thoughts, it’s a bit more difficult to stay in that place of rest.

How do I do it? I’ve found that when things come at me that want to pull me off that place of rest, including antics of the enemy, the key is to look at Yahweh. I could care less what the enemy does and generally don’t look at the distractions he puts before me. In his case, ignoring is bliss.

Where’s the focus? That focus determines how we stay in that place of rest, on that throne, where life circumstances must come under our feet. No, it’s not always easy but if we can get control of the thoughts that tend to come with hard circumstances, everything else is much easier. I find that praying in tongues and worshiping is very helpful. I don’t dwell on the negative and will often go find something to do that brings me to a place of peace. That will be different for each person. For me, it generally involves worship.

Another major key is practice! PRACTICE!!!! It’s best to practice when things are going well. That way, when the hard stuff is thrown at us, precedence and protocol are set so those situations are a bit easier to deal with. Although I still have a long ways to go, I also take every little victory (no matter how small) and rejoice over it. Growth is growth. I may not always notice a difference but when people around me start saying things like, “Hey! there’s so much peace on you!,” that’s a sign to me there’s growth. I then actually take those compliments to the trading floors and trade for more of Yahweh in my life. I want more of Him. It truly is ALL about relationship. And, going back to Queen Elizabeth, we have the anointing to be on the seat of rest in our lives, just like she was anointed to be Queen of England. That anointing gives us the authority to rule and reign over our lives.

With that, may your journey into the place of authority through your seat of rest be an amazing one!

Activation!

Use the picture of the throne on top of the waterfall as a starting point. Begin the activation be seeing yourself climb up a staircase or going deep into your heart or some other visual that helps you understand you're "ascending" into the realm of the spirit. If you remember the picture of the mountain with all the gateways (posted below as well), this throne and waterfall of Perfect Love are underneath the throne of your life at the top of your mountain where you're seated in Christ marinating in Perfect Love. From there, continue...

  • If you need some peaceful music, might I suggest a song from my Creation in the Elements album. The water element has a gentle waterfall playing in the background. Notice the song title Emotions in the Water
  • From a place of rest, feel the emotions of love, peace, and gratitude. Let them flow through your entire being. Wait to do the next part until you see, sense, hear, or feel these emotions flowing through you.
  • Look at your throne from a distance and then see yourself walk up to it. Jesus is already sitting on it waiting for you to join Him.
  • Go sit "into Jesus" on the throne of your life. Begin to feel the rest and peace in this place. Marinate in that rest and peace, allowing anything negative to float on down the "river of your thoughts." You can even let them flow into the River of Love that's coming from Jesus and into the waterfall.
  • Stay in the place for some time.
  • Look around. What do you see, hear, sense, and feel about things in your life? Write what comes to your mind first, even if it doesn't make sense. Write now, judge later.
  • As time goes on (maybe on another day?), begin to process what you get in the spirit while on your seat of rest.
  • Repeat FREQUENTLY until this activation becomes second nature to you. Of course, it will morph over time where you may find yourself in a different spot, in a different circumstance, and with others besides Jesus. As you mature, you'll see and understand more. Until then, get used to being in this place of rest. When life situations come up that cause anxiety, worry, or fear - come to this place. Stay as long as needed to get back into a place of rest and peace.

Enjoy the journey!

Divine Subtraction in Relationships

by Del Hungerford

What exactly is “divine subtraction” in a relationship? It’s basically a natural end to a relationship with those in our lives. It can also be a phasing out of a certain level of closeness in a relationship or a delberate act, especially if it's a toxic relationship. Even a toxic relationship can be divinely subtracted if done in a gentle and natural manner. What does this look like?

The term “divine subtraction” is something I made up. It seems to quite accurately describe the gentle falling away of relationships with people and even organizations. When a relationship is broken abruptly, I don’t really count that. Why not? It’s because broken relationships generally come with conflict. It seems to me that a divine subtraction happens naturally. It’s those relationships where contact fizzles out and you think, “Huh, I’ve not heard from __________ in such a long time!” This is true in many but not all cases.

This may sound a bit strange but I’ve actually learned to be OK when relationships in my life change. I’m a type “A” personality. For years, I thrived on being around people. In fact, I wasn’t comfortable enough in my own skin to spend time alone. I had to always be doing something and had to be with others. After spending a month alone over a Christmas holiday (prompted by Yahweh), I started to see myself as He sees me. For me, this “alone time” was crucial in crashing unhealthy paradigms. It was all about understanding my true identity in Christ. That identity didn’t involve my dependence on other people. Up until this point, I saw my identity in what I did and what others thought about me. Although at the time, I would have argued with you otherwise.

It’s fascinating that over the next four years, close relationships started to fall away. People moved or became very busy with their own lives so I didn’t see them as much. By the year 2016, all of my close friends had moved away. At the same time, I met new people who share a similar spiritual journey.

In addition, God utilized this time to help me focus on intimacy with Him. I found that I was no longer seeking out people to fulfill a need for relationship. It’s interesting that out of building deeper intimacy with Yahweh, I formed relationships with new people. It was all organic and natural. I call this “divine addition” in relationships; the whole point being that I didn’t force anything. Since then, some people have come and gone. Not every new relationship is meant to be long-lasting. Some are for a season. And, you don’t always know that until it’s time to let go.

Is there even a point behind all of this? I’ve had many recent conversations with people who are concerned about the loss of relationships. People seem to fall away and it’s so easy to think “Did I do something wrong?” Or, that we didn’t do enough to cultivate a relationship. This can also include family relationships. I’m not going to fight with people. If every conversation prompts frustration or anger from someone, that relationship is probably not healthy anyway. So, how do you find a healthy way to allow these relationships to be divinely subtracted?

In conversations, I started listening and not talking about myself or my belief systems. For me, the extrovert, this is not always easy to do. Some people never get tired of hearing themselves talk. For every 90 words they say, others get in 10. In other words, the “motor mouths” do 90% of the talking. We all know these people. And, they rarely ask questions about those around them. I was one of them so I should know. If I don't watch it, I could easily fall back into this pattern. For those who knew me as a kid and most of my adult life, I just described myself. They say it takes one to know one. It was out of my own insecurities that I functioned like this. It’s taken time and learning my identity in Christ to change this behavior pattern in me.

It’s out of my paradigm shifts that I noticed relationships changed, too. When my focus began to be more on intimacy with Father, that’s when new people started showing up in my life that are on this same journey. I met them at conferences, in on-line classes/organizations, and strangely enough, through social media. Some of those relationships developed into longer lasting trustworthy friendships and others floated on by. I wasn’t concerned about making friends or having the need to connect. I decided to let things happen naturally and basically said, “Father, bring the relationships to me that You want in my life.”

I talk to a lot of people who say things like “I really wish there were more like-minded people in my area,” or “I’d love to have fellowship with people.” I get it but, hear me out. If our desire is on building relationships with people and doing things to please our flesh, then our focus is on people, not Yahweh. This may seem like an itty-bitty difference but think about it… when we put our intent towards building relationship with Yahweh, we begin resonating with who He is IN us. That then attracts the right kind of relationships. These are relationships that help bring us into even greater relationship and intimacy with God. If the people we consider our closest relationships aren’t helping us grow into that intimate place with Father, it’s time to reconsider the depth of those relationships.

This is where it comes to divine subtraction in a relationship. On my journey into developing a kingdom lifestyle of living where I function from heaven to earth (now becoming standard operating procedure), people that are on a different path seem to go in another direction.

I do see some of these people once in a while but, those relationships have changed in that we don’t talk about the same things any longer. We can still have contact but it’s a different level of relationship. I believe this can be with both family and friends. Not every family member is going to be your best buddy. It’s a matter of knowing what you can and can’t share in those relationships that determines the quality of the relationship. There are some family members I rarely talk to or even share my journey. For many of them, they would think I'd fallen of an Idaho potatoe truck and lost my mind. Religious people can't seem to get out of the four walls of the church and you don't believe like them, you're in deception and possibly even in a cult (horrors!). The Word says we'll know them by their love and fruit. (Matthew 7:16, John 13:35). We are to judge the fruit, not the person. Some people obviously didn't get that memo.

My main focus is on intimacy with God as I'm seating in Christ in a position of rest on the throne of my life, in my spirit, which resides in my heart. Out of that intimacy, other close relationships are forming in my life. These are people who have the same focus and intent for a kingdom minded lifestyle. We resonate a similar frequency. To help you understand that, let’s take a scenario we learned in the domestic violence advocacy training where I used to be a volunteer. They say that you can put 100 people in a room. One is an abuser and another is a victim. By the end of the evening, the two would more than likely find each other. Why is that? There’s a resonant frequency, often called an “aura,” that each person resonates. Two closely matching frequencies eventually entrain with one another. It’s the way of nature so it would only make sense that people with like minded or “life experiences” would eventually find one another. In order for a victim to get out of a negative attraction pattern, he/she would need to make some major paradigm changes. This literally re-adjusts the resonant frequency of the aura he/she puts off. If you want to understand more on how that works, read my article on Healing Frequencies Music titled “Thoughts, Intents, Action!”

I’m not one to think that losing a relationship is a bad thing. In fact, I often think it can be good. We simply need to adjust the way we think about relationships that come and go in our lives. The relationship I have with my family has actually improved in the last few years. I know what I can and can’t share. I also know what negative triggers and buttons not to push. I’m perfectly fine with some family members only knowing the basics of my life. And, if they don’t want to know anything about me, that’s OK, too. I’m no longer offended if their focus has nothing to do with me or my life. Even though my family doesn’t make up those I’m closest to (I’m single with no children… just so you understand), I do have relationship with them on a different level than my closest friends. Both have a place in my life.

The whole purpose of this article is to help us understand that relationships have different levels and that relationships can come and go. None of it has to be negatively focused, especially when a friendship naturally fades away. In instances where offense has been taken, that may be different. In those cases, it’s simply a matter of dealing with the offense and by faith, move on. For me, when there’s been an accusation against me, I head to the mobile court (court of accusations) and deal with the offense there. I own, repent, and renounce ties to it, even if I did nothing. In the other person’s eyes, I did. So, that’s what I go on. It’s by taking care of issues in this manner that some relationships have actually been restored.

The other bit that’s important to understand is the different levels of relationships. Not everyone should be a close B.F.F. (best friend forever). I have a couple of those. These are the people I can share anything with. And, they are people I relate with on all levels of my life. We are on similar journeys, we share dreams and experiences, and we fully trust each other. At the next level down, these are the kingdom minded people I work with on a regular basis. I can share many things with them, and we help each other grow in our relationship with Yahweh. Most of my family is at another level where I can share some of my spiritual journey and with others, I can only share the normal day-to-day adventures that go on. “Hey, would you like to hear about the moose that slept in my yard last night?” The point is that it’s important to choose relationships wisely. When they naturally fall away or change, that should be perfectly fine. In fact, it might actually be ordained by Yahweh. The question of the day is… “Do we recognize it?”

My encouragement for those reading this is to assess your relationships. If there are unhealthy situations in your life where people drag you down, it might be time to reconsider the depth level of that relationship.

Possibly ask Yahweh to show you how to knock it down a couple of levels. In those situations for me, I simply did nothing to further cultivate the relationship and eventually, it was divinely subtracted. Ask Father for relationships where there’s equal contribution. Those relationships build one another up. We can’t be the person who is the “negative Nancy,” otherwise, we bring those around us down. And, they will start avoiding us.

Our focus should be about building intimacy with Yahweh. As we do that and put our intent on living out of our identity in Christ, relationships around us begin to naturally change. It in turn filters out to the people we associate with. We begin resonating at a more positive frequency – the frequency of Father’s love. Those who don’t want a part of that will more than likely naturally drift away.

I can already hear the next question... "what if the relationship is harmful or toxic?" Well, since I was involved in a toxic marriage, I could probably address that one, too. I write a lot about abusive marriages on my Free From Verbal Abuse website, which I began around 2009. There's some pretty raw emotions on that site! On the other hand, may women in churches who are involved in an abusive relationship won't leave the relationship because they feel divorce is a sin or they're embarrassed that they couldn't make it work.

NEWSFLASH!!! Are you aware that God "divorced" Israel at one point? When someone breaks a covenant, it's a divorce. If your spouse has broken the marital covenant, he/she has in a sense nullified the marriage. If it's a toxic marriage, why do you stay in it? What benefit do you receive by staying with a toxic person? Feel free to read the articles I have on the Free From Verbal Abuse site to learn more about toxic relationships. This isn't only about marriages but those in work relationships and friendships as well. When it comes to toxic relationships in general, I tend to "divinely subtract" them by reaching out less and less. I won't answer phone calls all the time or respond to texts. If I do, they are short and simple. I never attack the other person. Eventually, the relationship begins to fizzle. If the other person continues to desire control in the relationship, that's another story. Ask God to show you His best way of releasing your interest in that relationship. If it's dangerous for you, it's probably time to work with the authorities. Contact the right resources as needed immediately.

As you continue this journey, be aware that relationships are seasonal as well as long-term. Keep people around you who build you up, not tear your down. On the other hand, you do the same thing by sharing your victories and not always your sorrows with people. Yeah, I get it... life can be tough at times but some things need to go directly to God and not your friends. Friends can encourage you but those relationships shouldn't replace intimacy with the Trinity. Honestly, that was a hard lesson for me to learn.

My declaration for you today: May you resonate with the frequency of Yahweh’s love. As you entrain with that frequency, may you know and understand your identity in Christ. Through that, all your relationships come into their proper order.

Water Memory, Thoughts, and Intents

by Del Hungerford

Did you know that our thoughts and intents are carried in our cellular memory? How is that done? Through the water in our bodies. Water carries a memory of everything around it and since we’re made up of nearly 70% water, it would only make sense that what we see hear, and feel would be captured into the water within our cells.

Over on the Healing Frequencies Music website, I have four articles on the subject of water memory. If you want to know more from the scientific end of things, I recommend that you read those articles and watch the suggested videos. All four articles are on the Blog page. We’ll assume from this point on there’s a general understanding that water carries the memory of what it comes in contact with.

Although I mention the story of Jacob and Laban in Water Memory: Part 3, we’ll dig into the spiritual side of that story here. For your reading pleasure, here is that story taken from the New Living Translation on the website Biblehub.com of Genesis 30:37-42:

Then Jacob took some fresh branches from poplar, almond, and plane trees and peeled off strips of bark, making white streaks on them. 38 Then he placed these peeled branches in the watering troughs where the flocks came to drink, for that was where they mated.

39 And when they mated in front of the white-streaked branches, they gave birth to young that were streaked, speckled, and spotted.

40 Jacob separated those lambs from Laban’s flock. And at mating time he turned the flock to face Laban’s animals that were streaked or black. This is how he built his own flock instead of increasing Laban’s.

41 Whenever the stronger females were ready to mate, Jacob would place the peeled branches in the watering troughs in front of them. Then they would mate in front of the branches. 42 But he didn’t do this with the weaker ones, so the weaker lambs belonged to Laban, and the stronger ones were Jacob’s.

There are questions that immediately come to mind:

  • How did Jacob know that he could even change the way his flocks looked?
  • Where did Jacob get the knowledge on how to do it?
  • How did Jacob understand that by putting something in water, it could affect the way his flocks looked?
  • Why is this story here and why such detail?

Some of these questions, I have vague answers to and others, I’m still waiting for more revelation. What I do know is that when something jumps out at me saying, “Hello! Look at me!” from scripture, it’s probably a good idea to see what’s up. It takes time and persistence but I’m doing the full body plunge into this. The key for you when you do the same is to keep going back for more revelation!

If you’ve read my previous blog posts on this site, you’ll understand that I’m learning how to engage the kingdom realms on the other side of the veil. I call this “practice.” It’s not only practicing being in the presence of YHVH but learning how to function as a Son of God through relationship. Like everything else, it takes practice. No, I don’t have a special gift. If anything, I have the gift of persistence because I understand consistent practicing.

Back to the story… In watching some of the water memory videos, a minister talked about a study involving holy water and casually mentioned this story. My mind immediately started thinking, “Yes! There’s something to this… an example of water carrying memory from so long ago!” To say the least, I was a bit excited. And, to have knowledge of something that long ago that science is just beginning to understand? Priceless!

I know that in order to fully understand scripture, it’s necessary to look at the original text in Hebrew. This is something I’ve also been delving into for quite some time. Armed with my limited knowledge of Hebrew, I wrote out the Hebrew words for these verses.

I then looked up the meaning of each letter in every word. I have several books that provide excellent descriptions of the meaning and properties of each Hebrew letter. That information along with listening to Rabbis (and others with good knowledge of the subject) teach on the letters allowed me to put together a somewhat coherent meaning of these verses.

Here’s the cool part… after I had done the research, I "engaged" the story so I could learn more about what really happened. You know, it’s that “I’d like to be a fly on the wall so I can watch” thing. In other posts, I talk about using Bible stories as a launching pad to seeing in the spirit. Well, that's all I did here. With a sanctified imagination, I stepped into the story to "see" spiritually what Jacob did. And, I wanted to see HOW he knew what to do.

I didn’t know what to expect but I was confused for quite some time at the beginning of the engagement and thought I was way off. The long and short of it – I ended up in a laboratory in heaven, a place I’ve never been. I watched some “experiments” and learned more about intents, words, and frequencies. Not only did I gain a better understanding of this situation but about how color, sound, words, intents, and desires all work together in harmony when they’re based on the same “fundamental.” Remember, because I’m a musician, God often talks to me using language that I understand.

What I can share about this experience involves realizing that Jacob understood something because he had spent time in his heart where he met God learning about such things. Back in his day, they didn’t have the technology that we do today (or did they?). In a sense, they understood relationship with the God-head much better than we do. We depend way too much on what’s around us in the world for answers. That being said, just like I was able to, Jacob could "ascend" (turn inward toward his heart in his spirit) at any time to learn how to function from the heavenly perspective first. He could then bring the revelation of that into to the earth realm and release it to come to pass. I believe this is what he did in this situation. There is no scientific explanation other than Jacob understood that water carries memory and was able to utilize that technology.

It's literally about water carrying the memory of what it comes into contact with. If you read my posts concerning water memory on Healing Frequencies Music, you’ll understand that science is still fighting over the validity of such claims.

However, there seems to be credible evidence pointing towards the fact that water carries the memory of what’s put in it. Does it seem so much of a stretch that Jacob understood that if he put something into the water of his flocks that it would affect them?

Read Genesis 30, starting in verse 25 where Jacob tells Laban his “wages” will include keeping all the spotted, striped and speckled flocks. Obviously, he had some knowledge about what to do by verse 25. Then, he implemented his plan. He tells us in verse 37 what he did to carry out the plan, and with some decent detail.

A key point in this story involves the importance of thoughts, intents, and actions. Jacob was given a blueprint of what to do and how to do it. That, there’s no doubt only because of the detail provided in the story. He also had an understanding that by “putting the face of the flocks” towards the truth, they were able to produce what was in the truth. Notice in the story that not only did the flocks drink the water but, they also looked upon the rods (branches in this translation). In those rods was the truth of what was to come to pass.

How many times are we instructed in scripture to put our face towards the truth?

Now, let’s look at the other obvious bit. Jacob put branches and specific tree pieces into the water. It’s been known for thousands of years that plants have certain properties for specific purposes. In this case, the water became the carrier of the desired properties of those specific trees. That intermixed with Jacob’s intent and the blueprint he received from God, created a governmental positioning for what he desired to come to pass. Although scripture doesn’t mention it, I have no doubt that Jacob did quite a bit of declaring and speaking over the flocks and the water “recipe” he’d created for this occasion.

My main point? This story shows a couple of things: 1) words, intents, and desires frame a reality. Jacob framed that reality in the kingdom realms and released it on earth. 2) Water was the vehicle used to put that blueprint and reality into motion. And, it was long-term, continuous, and persistent. There was no “I’ll try this for a couple of days and see what happens” mentality. Jacob knew that he knew the instructions and didn’t waste any time in carrying them out.

How can this help us? I think it’s important to understand the power of our thoughts, intents, and desires. Once we frame them up, there are many “carriers” to help bring them to pass. Secondly, I believe this story shows that water is a powerful carrier. Why else would our bodies be made up of nearly 70% of it? I believe this is one reason that flower essences and music essences work. Our intent and desire for them TO work intermixed with the intent and desire of the person (or company) who creates such things “arc” together to bring us the desired result. Even in quantum physics, we see that intent changes everything.

Because water carries memory, and our bodies are full of it, it’s not a stretch to understand that what we think, say, and do will be imprinted within the water of our bodies. I believe that’s one reason why it’s so important to be mindful of what we say, watch, listen to, and do. I believe that if we changed our “thought and word” life, we’d be healthier. Jacob understood this. His flocks were healthier than Laban’s. Add some flower essences, music essences and healing music into that mix and you have a great recipe for assisting in bringing the body, soul, and mind into their intended position as a Son of God.

Remember what Proverbs 18:21 says? "Life and death are in the power of the tongue." Do your words create life or do they create death? It's a choice so make the right choice.

Conclusion

Jacob understood a truth that we are just now beginning to see scientifically. The only way he could access that information was through the “come up here” principle of entering into the kingdom realms, ascending, or whatever other term you want to call it. Simply put, he turned into his heart, where his spirit resides. Remember that the spirit is at the top of our personal mountain where we're seated on the throne of our life in Christ. When we're on that seat of rest, we can see not only everything below the mountain but everything above and beyond the mountain itself. When we operate from our spirit FIRST as standard protocol, we're doing it from our position "in Christ" as we hear, sense, see, and feel His thoughts. We can't do that when we function from the soul, which is lower down the mountain.

Again, I usually visualizations, just like Jesus did with parables. This brings pictures to your mind so you can see the positioning of how things work in a language you understand. Most of it's not my original language; it's that of the forerunners who've gone before me. I've only tweaked things a bit to make them a bit more understandable. After all, that's what teachers do.

Finally, Jacob also understood the power of words, truth, heavenly science, and how to imprint that into water. As we learn to function in the same manner, we’ll not only build a stronger relationship with God (Yahweh) but we’ll be given keys to things that will unlock what we need for living life abundantly on the earth. Now, that’s what I call awesome!

Blessings!
